His point is that the inventory is sitting (ie “he’s got solid inventory”) because he’s pricing it too high.
His inventory quality isn't based on bottles not moving. When I bought my bottles the other day he told me a guy came in and bought an 8 bottle mix of M10 and M toasted barrel, M10 at $250/bottle and Toasted barrel at $299/bottle. He showed me a waiting list of names that want Blantons that he sells at $150/bottle. As soon as that shipment comes in it’s gone.
I’m about 94.67% sure it was B17, I think I saw 124 proof for it so if they’re the same proof I could be wrong? I went with C19 because it was the highest proof.

Last night was the first night since the beginning of March that I hung out with another adult couple. My friends are both antibody positive and I know they were both sick. One works in a hospital. In any case finished the equivalent of 3/4 bottle of the Four Square between the 2005 and 2007 along with a good amount of W12, ETL, RHF, and Old Ezra. We also drank some Armagnac. My buddy left my house and somehow lost one of his shoes on the walk to his car. His wife drove.

I posted a few weeks ago that I bought one at $300 from a local store. Best price I’ll find in DC. I loved the earlier Staggs when they were around 130 proof so I’m curious to see what I’ll think about the 116 proof.
Went and made a run to the local store. Got some EHT single barrel, EC barrel proof, Eagle Rare and store pick Buffalo Trace. Should be a good time in the coming days.

I picked up a bottle of Old Grand Dad 114 based on the recs in here. First sip was a burner, but after dropping an ice cube in and letting it sit, it opened up nicely. One thing I've noticed with bourbon is that for whatever reason every time I drink bourbon I get a craving for potato chips. The saltiness pairs well with it.
