Nikka 17 and 21 are so good. What were they asking for them? M10 is great too. EHT SiB is quality bourbon, though. Can't complain.
Finally got my hands on a bottle of Blanton's for a good price. A store I messaged about it got a few bottles in and sold them for $62.
I also bought a bottle of bourbon from Kennesaw that probably sucks, but the shop owner was excited about it, so that was my thanks for her messaging me about the Blanton's.
That meme I posted a while back about all the different hand sanitizers being made by distilleries. My buddy chimed in with "Yeah this one is made nearby, it sucks but we try and support the locals."
they didnt put prices out on anything since the bottles were going to move regardless, so i cant say for sure i paid 70 after tax for the sib and i saw other bottles go for msrp (or near), so im guessing they didnt go too crazy on them
Is Larceny BP allocated? I’ve been seeing it around but it’s usually a bit more than I want to pay ($70$).
I just bought some at $49.99. Figured I'd grab that and the Knob Creek 12 yr on some recommendations.
Larceny BP is $49 at both my normal stops here. Unfortunately one has ECBP at $80 and the other that had it at $60 is out of stock. I thought I was the only one buying it.
I just got another bottle of WT Master's Keep 17 BiB. At first he made a stink about giving me another of his three bottles and I was like, no worries I totally get it. Then he insisted I take it, LOL. I also picked up another 4R Cask Strength, OBSF this time.
like i said, happy with the way it worked out i get the weller a little bit, since the price point is so much cheaper compared to the other selections they had
The other day I got another ECBP C919 & also picked up the A120 since they finally got one in - $70 each for both.
Let me know. I don't really need it. I just bought because I knew it was worth more than that. I got it for $99 + tax. It's the 2015 edition, gold neck label.
Have you tried The Bottle Shop down there in Columbus? Saw someone on FB pick up a KC12 barrel pick for 50.
Ive really taken a liking to the KC12 and the store picks. It’s nice to have a go-to that I don’t have to search far and wide for these days.
I got Keef a bottle of their last store pick, and he's raved so much about it, I had to get one this go around. Opened it tonight, and it did not disappoint.
me and a buddy did a taste off between RR10 and Weller SR. I have to say it was neck and neck and RR gets the nod because of the price.
Yes but I like all of them for different reasons. The 10 in particular really pulls its weight. I actually like the 20 the best but don’t own one.
Not a one. Only one I’m sure of is Bankhead Beverage. They’ll hold theirs and release them with BTAC and Pappy for their raffle in late fall.
Got the kentucky bourbon trail glasses today based on seeing them in here so often. I like the wider base and opening compared to the glencarins I have. These were bigger than I expected but the description does say 8 ounces. Overall, it’s a solid sipping glass.
Gonna order these too. Considering getting one of their flight trays as well for sexy display reasons.
Report back. Great customer service too. I purchased them when they were on sale abt a month ago and one had a small chip on the lip. I emailed them and let them know and specifically said there was no need to respond or send any freebies, just giving them a heads up on poor packaging. They sent me an entire new set immediately anyways.
