I have a couple rental condos that have gate cards I have to ship out to the renters. Several times here lately they have just stopped moving and been stuck at a sorting facility for days on end. Not sure what's going on with Fed Ex as they used to be the best in my experience.
Finally picked up a pikesville rye today. Delicious. On a sad note it appears ECBP is disappearing from the stores by me. One jacked the price up, one hasn’t had it in weeks, and today’s stop had one bottle in a locked cabinet.
Same. My local store said he was swimming in ECBP six months ago and now he can’t get any. I think I’m going to have to switch to the Larceny BP at $70.
I think that’s the price at my main stop now. Was $59 and I thought I was the only one buying it because it was always there. OG 114 has shown up more recently, not on the same level but I’ll take it at $30.
I'm counting on UPS to play nice with a bottle of WFP. If it breaks through all the bubble wrap I used, there was nothing I could have done.
Haven't seen B520 anywhere in KC. Really looking forward to trying it though. If it ever gets here I could grab extras and ship like g8r said if any of you want to roll the dice
I still see ECBP around for 60. I grabbed 2 extras for my cabinet. Also stumbled upon a C919. Hoping it’s half as good as B520
One of my locals who is ordinarily very overpriced on things has a good quantity of all of the BT Kosher's. Are they still going for a premium? He is selling them for $39.99.
that is retail man. scoop them up. especially the straight rye as that is much harder to find. they are hard to move on secondary though. price has come down quite a bit there.
OK, that is what I thought. I don't want to deal with buying and selling but pretty sure if I gave them to my 18 year old daughter she would be more than happy to make $30 a bottle. Thanks!
They sold out fast around me. Literally went the day after the store posted they got some in and they were all gone.
It was $35 and looked cool. I’m a sucker for marketing It’s alright. Definitely not bad, but I wouldn’t buy it again. Smooth, but not very flavorful. I’d rather buy bulleit or another bottle under $35 tbqh
Redemption Wheated...not good. Nose is solid but there is literally no corn at all. I know it is a Wheated bourbon, but it’s just missing an entire depth to it. The finish is like flat spiked seltzer, and that is insulting to flat spiked seltzer.
Hart field & Co, may actually be worse, and that is saying a lot. The nose is dog diarrhea, and the flavor is dog diarrhea with cinnamon.
Ok, maybe it’s me. I just poured a small glass of GTS and that doesn’t even taste right to me. I drank two bottles of alkaline electrolyte water before because I was doing yard work and sweating my ass off. I wonder if that impacted my taste.
I didn’t see them anywhere down here - if you don’t mind shipping, I’ll take one of each flavor that you can get your hands on, just let me know!
I will let you know. I can only claim one but if the second is on the shelf when I pick it up it is yours.
I don’t know anything about tasting notes but I’m enjoying this Weller Full Proof a lot. Less heat than I would have expected and a bit of a slow burn. Thanks again NYGator
