I don’t understand the willingness of people to purchase opened bottles on these secondary markets. No. Negative. Not a damn chance.
It’s not just for samples. It’s for raffling bottles, too. Usually slightly higher all in than if someone bought it outright. Annoying part is collecting payments from 10 people and worrying about PayPal or Venmo flagging your account.
Anybody have a line on W12 for 100 or less? I'd like to add it to my WSR, OWA, and WFP, but fuck what it's going for on resell right now. Only place I've seen it here has it at 150.
Won a bottle lottery from the state of Ohio. In 10 days, I'll spend $50 on a bottle of Weller Full Proof Single Barrel Select. Secondary prices look pretty high for the stuff. Fuck it. I can't wait to drink it.
Nice. Total Wine near me got some in stock today. Of course by the time I got there it was all sold out
For those with bountiful BTAC reserves, have you been able to acquire at retail? If so, teach us, senpai.
Stagg was retail, called publix every day for weeks until they came in and scooped one up. 2 of the WLW’s were retail through ABC Vault, the other I won a raffle
About $200 more than what I bought it for. I only buy my bottles for consumption but damn if it’s not tempting to dip my toes in selling on secondary for profits
found out I am getting the Weller CYPB in the OHLQ lottery, there are a bunch of bottles I would love to try over it soooo pm me if interested
ECBP B520 worth the hype? Just grabbed one and wondering if I should go back and get the last bottle.
My local store has the Hakushu 12 for $109, is that a buy? I see that it is being discontinued but wasn’t sure if that demanded an auto-grab
A bar near me is selling two ounces of Al Young To Go for $28. I’d be crazy not to buy as much as I can, right?
its a 1000 bottle on secondary so that's almost $40 an ounce. So yeah, ask to buy the rest of the bottle with the bottle.
How is the Larceny BP compared to ECBP? I’m a huge fan of the ECBP 520. Have 3 bottles stashed away. Haven’t tried the Larceny yet though
