Swung by my honey hole on Friday to check out their inventory and drop them a sample of RC6. Figured they had a few bottles on their shelf but hadn’t tried it. They were super appreciative of the gesture and gave me a sample in return.
Also grabbed a bottle of this for $150. If you have a boss that drinks tequila and can find this for less than $150, it’s a great bottle.
I haven’t had the Dickel BIB because I refuse to buy it, I have yet to have a Dickel bottle or Dickel sourced bottle I actually enjoyed.
I get a lot of the banana from 1920, but I enjoyed it immensely. 1910 is also quite good, but I'm thinking I prefer 1920.
this all brought to mind that i left an of 1920 at my buddies place so i went out and got a replacement bottle store also had a store pick of american prairie, which i havent seen before, so i picked that up too
Just poured my first glass of Little Book 2 since I killed my last bottle. It's been a few weeks, but still one of my favorite sippers.
I bought it because of the praise and can say it’s an unmitigated disaster. Not even sure I want to use it for cocktails, such is my disdain for the whiskey.
hi i really like bourbon and I’m all out rn but I don’t really know much about what is out there - any advice for something new to try in the ~$80 range? i just finished a bottle of angels envy which i really enjoyed and i usually just have evan williams on hand if that is any help
Was looking forward to some Yippee Ki-Yay I found while visiting friends this weekend. Promptly left the bottle at his house
I’ve seen some bottles of Yippee ki-yay around. I think campfire and rye. are these worth a try? Think they were around $35-45.
Campfire is like an Islay scotch to me, but I like that. It is blended with a malt scotch not from Islay but it is definitely in that profile.
Yeah, was more of a joke than anything. The people that could really use that chart won't be able to buy most of that stuff. Like 7 iterations of Pappy on that chart seems like overkill but maybe I'm just nuts.
Nah, it’s helpful for that very reason. Guy: I have to get some of that Pappy 12. Pinterest: Alright cool, what’s a bottle you really like? Guy: I like Basil Hayden and Woodford. Pinterest: Here, try this OGD114. Guy: Wow that’s delicious and completely accessible to 99% of the population!
TIL Longbranch is the result of a partnership with Matthew McConaughey and Eddie Russel. WT aged the bourbon in mesquite wood, which is native to Texas.
It’s not really in PA, either, but all over NJ, Delaware, and Maryland so a little effort and it’s gettable. I’m sure others in this thread would be happy to hook you up if you really can’t find it.
Enjoying a pour of this right now. I opened the bottle a little over a month ago and am really noticing a change for the better
I found a liquor store in a shitty part of town that has 3 bottles of it for $140 each - not sure if I should pull the trigger or not
I paid $100 which is retail. I don’t think it’s a must try for that kind of a markup but it is very good
Looking for some MWND if anyone sees any, let me know. Picked up the OF 1910 and 1920 yesterday after all the talk in here and can say I was really pleased with both. And while the 1910 is great, the 1920 was definitely a class above.
Can get it for $99.99 + tax and include it with your RR Gordon's pick when I ship next month. PM if you want it.

Your billing address must be PA per their rules. Would love for folks to enter and help me but unless you have a way to have your credit card billing address here, they'll throw out the entry.
