It's expensive but so is everything nowadays. CoK is just a good solid bourbon.

Yeah it annoyed me to see the MSRP on Bulleit Single Barrel set at 60. That has to be one of the biggest deltas between the small batch and single barrel versions. Everything worth a shit seems to be going up in price.

 

yeah, that increase in price is what had me leery of buying a Bulleit SiB - have you opened yours?

 

I have not yet, I'll try to remember to post when I do. I love small batch, but partially because it's so cheap.

 

$500. The guy who had told me he had a bottle for me two months ago and didn't, actually called me.

 

So this is the first time I have ever tasted WLW before. Pretty blown away by the flavor, but the nose might be the best thing ever. I literally want to strap a glass to my head with my nose in it.

Edit: Yes, I think this may be the best bourbon I ever had. It's definitely top 3.

 

I had a pour in New Orleans last month at the Sazerac Bar - it was fucking delicious

 

I opened mine, it’s very good. But for $55 not sure I’d buy it again

 

Whats a reasonable price to pay for each of the following in the wild
Michters 10
Rock Hill Farms
Willett 6yr bourbon
George T Stagg

 

Not sure about M10, but I want to say around $175.

Stagg is fairly common on the secondary at ~$300 (MSRP on all BTAC is $99)

Don’t know about WFE Bourbon.

RHF seems to be demanding a higher price on the secondary lately, ~$135-150 (MSRP is something like $60?)

 

M10 $119-$145 or so, IMO.

 

175 for M10 seems extremely high

 

Depends on what you think is reasonable
M10- 119-149; secondary is 190-200
RHF- MSRP is 50; secondary is 150
Willett 6 - really varies. Secondary is 250-300
GTS: MSRP is 99 but secondary is solidly 400+ (not 300, sorry BrickTamland)

 

I ask because obviously those are some id be interested in, but ive seen the below prices
M10 - 280-479
RHF - 199
Willett 6 - 299
GTS - 750-899

And I was like these seem expensive but maybe im just that naive

One place here it’s on bottom shelf, the other that has it doesn’t even take it out of the shipping boxes. Fantastic for the price. Good sipper and mixer. I drink it neat but it makes a good old fashion too bc I don’t like them too sweet.
