Low key neat imo
I don’t know why that was a take-away thought after looking at that pic... you’ve got plenty of great ryes in there with a few barrel proofs.
But okay I’ll play along now and double down: you really should get a Sazerac 18 and a TH Handy.
...and a RVW Rye.
I like the woodenville rye too
I like the very sad looking sample between the Old a Fitz decanters
Anyone have a Woodenville private select bottle. Thinking about getting one. I love the regular 90 proof
I have one full proof, but not opened.
They have 3 different picks on K&L wines that have been sitting for months.
I got mine at Total Wine. It just came out to them maybe 2 weeks ago and seemed to be moving.
i count 85 bottles
what room of the house is that?
The bourbon room
Just finished one. It was great.
my place has had it for a while. $70 which might deter some folks who’ve never heard of it. I really like all their offerings that I’ve tried and I’m patiently waiting for some longer aged producers from them.
The fuck shack.
Can't remember who posted it, but what are the best Japanese whiskeys for a beginner? $50 ish range.
Can't wait to spend time in Keef's bourbon room/fuck shack.
Suntory Toki should be around $50, but I’d recommend just jumping up to $65 and getting a Nikki Coffey Grain
I drank half of it and its amazing, I’ve been saving a few samples to share with Degausser and Earn_Marks when post pandemic they can come hang out in the bourbon room/fuck shack
You coy son of a bitch
Keef what year GTS is that?
Did you acquire in a trade or from a store? I’m really wanting the ‘20.
How do you rank the 4 OFs? Assume Birthday is first.
2. 1920 and 1910 are tied, I like both for different reasons
I’m a big Old Forester fan
Oh fuck that guy. He’s always in my DM’s
Thanks. Just had 1920 so far but I really like it.
Any chance you have friends with more money than restraint that may develop a drinking problem?
1910 is great. I have a pour left of the BiB and it’s still a solid bourbon but way less of the banana profile
Let my wife choose my pour
Every time I let my wife choose a pour it ends up Blantons
“It’s a pretty bottle”
Every time I let my wife choose my pour I end up with a glass of water
You might be a heavy drinker then?
Whoa easy with the A word
Well I’m damn sure not a quitter
Cracked the armida for a nightcap. Strong pear notes on the nose but the palate is heavily amaro based more so than the brandy and rum. The finish is where the sweetness of the rum takes place. Definitely enjoyable but I’d rank Dovetail slightly above it. Going to give it another try in a few months after it sits.
Further sips and more of the pear is prevalent throughout. Me likey. Need to do an actual side by side to see which I prefer compared to the dovetail
What bottle should I buy to make old fashioneds with for the game tomorrow? I don’t have anything in the house I can actually drink.
Alright. This stuff is delicious. Barrell has more than redeemed itself after the disaster the 15 year was for me
A barrel proof rye.
So weird, because I love the 15.
Found Leeroy Jenkins! alt account
Got this for the father in law’s birthday. Might need to get some for myself at some point. Any thoughts on this bourbon?
Thread favorite, so much so it made the OP.
