Too much Dickell. I find a lot more enjoyable bottles for way less of the price too.
Can I get a power rankings of the various OF? Guessing BiB is #1.
From the previous page:
What about the 1897
#3 or lower :)
its good, it's not in the same realm as 1920 and 10
I might as well try to get all 4. Looking forward to trying them.
I've also decided I might as well try to get a Birthday Bourbon.
Gonna crack open something nice tonight to watch this football game that’s supposed to be pretty big
Usually don't drink Monday-Thursday but might have to pour something to calm my nerves.
Started off the night with the Armida (so damn good) and now following up with MWND for reasons
Detlef Schrempf loves Willett pot still
I even steer guests away from that swill
When I sold my unopened bottles, before moving, I threw in a pot still for free.
Jokes on you. I keep my Pappy in a Willett pot still bottle to keep the buzzards away from the good stuff
Willet Pot Still
I feel like there's an update tot he OP brewing here...
One of my fraternity brothers texted me this last week. I didn’t have the heart.
Those are some heartfelt, well-crafted words. Bless you.
New Bourbon Thread: Pretty Good Value
I’ve never heard of Legent, I feel like I missed a great story.
Leeroy Jenkins! keeps one on the shelf at all times.
Strong kick, sweet taste
burnt hair and Carmel
Get 2 and send me 1. TIA.
I probably have the most recent one. Liquor store had it behind the counter with other allocated bottles, had to make a quick decision on if I wanted it or not. Figured $40 for allocated bourbon was worth a shot. Liquor store fucked up, it should have never been behind the counter. I knew it sounded familiar, was some discussion in here a while ago about how bad it is and I had just forgotten. Believe it was described as tasting like it was aged in a dog's asshole, it's terrible.
The one pour I tried I remember getting a super strong earth taste, like there was actual dirt in my glass.
Is High West American Prairie Straight Bourbon 92 Proof worth buying for $40?
It's solid but the regular price is $30ish I think. I bought mine at a rite aid for $29
BrickTamland I'm gonna stop by here after work. You want me to grab you one?
Technically, I should take you up on that. Mrs. Tamland has asked me to reduce the inventory to just what the cabinet can fit though, and I already have three 15yrs unopened so...
Guess you should start drinking...or make some room in your sock drawer.
I don’t see a no in this post
The bourbon selection in my area of Florida (Palm Beach County) fucking sucks. You can find really basic stuff easily, but even then just regular Buffalo Trace or Eagle Rare are never on any shelves. If you ever want something from Heaven Hill, though, it seems like they have locked down every store in town.
I never see Buffalo Trace or Eagle Rare any more. A few years ago they always had it.
Wonder if this stuff is any good
Looks good to me, I enjoy normal Yellowstone 93
I like the small amount of Yellowstone I have had.
You have to watch the show if you have a pour of yellowstone
Or visit the national park. I'd go with the national park option.
I dig the label.
Local store released their BT pick today. Got one each for me and Keef. $27 feels like such a steal.
The Yellowstone store picks have been excellent.
some schmuck will be selling it for $100 in a facebook secondary market
Entire barrel sold out in half a day. Sipping on mine now. It's delicious.
they must have processed a bunch of barrels had multiple picks land in town this week
Just saw 2 left on FWGS (pa site) and when I went to check out both were gone
