Yeah that makes sense. Luck of the draw. Still have more good bourbon than I had yesterday, and at MSRP.
I reached Grand Reserve status with TW last year and entered into the drawing for the allocated booze earlier this year. Got the email that I didn't win anything. That was fun
Easily a top five bottle I’ve ever owned. Stuff is so good, but I don’t know how much of that is the store pick.
Yup. Customer tipped me a bottle for Christmas. It is very slightly less powerful, and not quite as complex as the Cask Strength. Neither are mind blowing to me, but are perfectly drinkable. Also opened my Ragged Branch straight bourbon last weekend. Lotta wheat, but very smooth. I still prefer their double Oaked offering more. All these reviews are on the rocks.
Anyone have a good reference for the MSRP and secondary prices on the various Willett Family Estate releases?
There is a pretty cool WFE app for iOS that has an index for all bottles and in some cases recorded price ranges
I have a 14 year 11 month store pick I'm waiting to crack. Will be the oldest bourbon I've ever had haha
You'll love it. One I'm drinking is 14 years 9 months. I have an unopened 14 year 6 month from another store.
Is there still no BSM replacement? I'm looking to drop a little coin on a couple big bottles when we close on our home sale next week.
This conversation is relevant to my interests in a quest for a purple top. One of my white whales with WLW.
Campari sales got back to me about a potential RR barrel. They're forwarding me to a regional manager.
Let's not get ahead of ourselves here. I'm expecting an email back from the guy saying there's nothing available.
