W12 definitely isn’t worth secondary prices
Not much is.
goblue31602 like I was saying literally yesterday.
Hold on there. Makers cask is not very good.
I mean I'll take all your W12 then, I fucking love it.
Makers Cask Strength sucks. Tried my private selection side by side and Cask Strength is just super meh compared to their better stuff.
Hey guys, if anyone finds a bottle of Evan Williams Single Barrel barreled on 5/7/13, can you buy it and let me know so I can buy it off you? The April to June bottles are out and about.
I haven’t seen Artoo’s avatar in a long time and I laughed all over again.
Underwhelming for sure. I did like the makers 46 cask strength but probably not worth the price increase over regular 46
Neither is Weller's 12 though. It's solid but that's it.
Oh I thought we were talking 46 Cask Strength.
Saw more of the World Whiskey Society stuff at Total Wine earlier.
That's actually the one I meant. I actually forgot there was a regular cask strength.
W12 is very good, just not great like OWA.
It's honestly been ages since I've had W12. I do enjoy OWA quite a bit.
I just think the Buffalo Trace stuff tends to be a bit over hyped.
If I did that I couldn’t have someone see it and tell them I don’t like it very much like the cunt I am.
Such an underrated part of having certain bottles
What's the secondary on Birthday Bourbon these days? I had it several years ago and loved it but haven't been paying close attention for a few years now because secondary just got out of control on everything.
750–1000 depending on the year
Jesus. Great bourbon but shit is so wild now.
I was a liquor store in ft wayne yesterday and saw they had bottles of the blue stellum. I ended up leaving with knob creek 12. How big of a mistake did i make?
I love this restaurant.
So the 700 I saw it for over Thanksgiving was a good deal?
if you went to capncork you should have grabbed their barrel pick of russels reserve
what kind of coke do you like to mix them with?
I think it was belmont beverage. I’ll try capncork next time.
Grabbed some Russell’s 10 this past weekend. I enjoyed it.
Dr. Pepper, obvi.
i really like my first bottle of dovetail. i retract anything i said before about being uncertain about spending $100 on a bottle of liquor.
$50 for small batch now?
Fuck you, Total Wine, take my money.
Let’s see the abstract gift bag
Why yes, you can gift me a bottle.
Wouldn’t you like that?
Show us the bottle, we want to see the bottle
Are ppl actually paying $1500 for a bottle of 10 yr van winkle on secondary markets? Or is Google misleading me
$900-1200 depending on year
Your Google machine is fibbing.
$900-1,000 seems more accurate. It was $600 not even a year ago…
I just had a glass of it in the bar for $15
Looked up the proof and was shocked at the $$$ it said
I knew 23 yr was expensive but I didn't realize ppl would pay over $1k for the 10 yr
Lot B go for a little bit more than ORVW?
What’s the consensus on Smoke Wagon UC UF?
Shit has basically doubled in the last year. I have two unopened Booker’s Ryes that I’m thinking about finally selling because I’ve seen them moving for close to $2500 each. It’s an amazing whiskey, but I can get a lot of good whiskey for 5k.
Very good at the right price.
80 bottles of ECBP.
Had the bookers rye 2 weeks ago. Wouldn't pay more than 200 for the bottle.
