Really? I have never seen anyone here rag on Shenks? The only thing I've seen is not as good as Bomberger's, which I would agree with, but it is also a totally different type of mash.

 

I wash my glasses with Shenks.

 

Wasn’t able to get the Bombergers or the Shenk’s but got the MWND as a consolation to go with the M10.

What is the secondary run on like a purple top? Been searching for one and thinking I might need to bite the bullet.

 

All purple tops are different because it depends on age. A lot.

 

What should I expect for a 6 year then. Not looking to get outrageous with the 16 year and stuff.

 

They are already showing up all over secondary for 250+. I guess today was the first day and said people were already lined up at 5 am

 

I would guess $450-500, but just a guess and frankly I wouldn't pay that for any 6 year. pperc was able to grab me a 6 year last year, and it's very good, but I wouldn't seek it out for that price.

Snagged a High West double rye store pick and an American Prairie SiB store pick this morning

 

Found a bottle of HW Campfire at a store randomly while I was picking up some wine. Definitely not a store where scotch / bourbon afficianados shop. That bottle had likely been there for a couple years, since HW stopped distributing it outside of Utah since last year.

 

It's still all over PA,WV,OH. I thought it was just certain products that are now utah exclusive, but I'm probably wrong
