Bacon egg and cheese is a lifestyle. Usually go scrambled on a bagel, but went two fried eggs, two slices center cut bacon, and sharp cheddar today.
Made myself fried eggs brunch but my wife is a child who doesn’t eat fried eggs so I made her this brunchy club croissant. Better meal: Spoiler
Didn’t know this was a thread. I’ll upload what I did to food/cooking thread. I started making breakfast sandwiches on Saturday mornings
Ah yes, classic signs of microwaved eggs. Grill marks and thin edges where the eggs rams a little and cooked faster. How could I have missed it?
had leftover hamburger guns laying around and i hate throwing shit out so after reading this thread this morning toasted the buns in a pan, slice of tillamook extra sharp, two fried eggs, and some trader joes habanero hot sauce made a very quick and easy delightful lunch that trader joes habanero hot sauce is so so good. i rotate renfros jalapeno salsa, cry baby craigs, and that as my breakfast salsas of choice based on mood and need.
microwaved scrambled eggs for sandwiches are fine, local bakery here blends like 500 eggs together then cooks them in a sheet pan in their steam oven, then reheated when someone orders a sandwich and they're fantastic.
with scrambled eggs I rotate hot sauces, but if I'm eating a runny yolk I crave original cholula with it.
I stand corrected, sorry. Looked like a super fluffy egg at first glance. You seem like a man of distinguished tastes, this is not distinguished.
Tasteless and poor texture ain’t great. I realize the accoutrements are doing most of the heavy lifting in a breakfast sandwich but let’s build the foundation with a little bit of effort.
Bacon, egg, and American cheese on a bagel. Not much to look at, but it hit the spot for Sunday breakfast.
One gouda and one sharp cheddar. Toasted up the inside of the sister shubert’s yeast rolls in the bacon fat after they came out of the oven.
we don't usually have bread around but had leftover kings rolls so last two days have taken two and toasted them, slice of extra sharp tilamook cheddar, and a fried egg with trader joes habanero salsa (might replace aardvark as my favorite in this lane) very easy and delightful
the Trader Joe’s is p hot for me and not really that great because of it Have seen you mention a few times but doesn’t seem comparable to aardvark and yellow bird wondering if i just have a weird bottle
the one I have is significantly hotter. tear inducing I can easily eat an entire tablespoon of aardvark
I'm confident those are steamed since they have a steam oven for bread. Could figure out ways to do it at home with a steamer basket or sous vide I imagine
Bacon egg and cheese on croissant with arugula, red onion, and sriracha mayo. Wifey's breakfast bowl also pictured.
We have an Anyday dish that you can basically do that in. Great for quickly making steamed eggs or veggies
no pics, but made a burger for breakfast with some leftover wheat bread acting as buns. mixed some Cento Hoagie Spread with mayo for the sauce. it was delightful.
So Hardee's has a new ultimate sausage biscuit that's absurdly good. I highly recommend everyone try this..I stole this picture off of Google image but it does it justice.
I'm salivating reading this thread. Uses to work in downstate N.Y. We had a huge bakery a half mile up the road with a deli in the building. The hard rolls and bagels were still hot when they were making your sandwich in the morning. Crispy bacon, runny egg, and cheese with salt and pepper on a scooped oit plain bagel contributed to god knows how many years off my life in my 20's and 30's. I can still smell the inside of that place today. Haven't had a BEC in probably 10 years. May need a road trip...
Food in Europe is great, but they don’t give a fuck about our concept of breakfast. Every time I come back from a vacation there, I crave a good breakfast sandwich
I didn't know this thread existed. But if you are ever in Asheville, NC, go to The Rhu and order a pastrami bagel. Glorious.
Kinda off topic but #Mississippi Rebels fans, what do y'all think of big bad breakfast? I saw it originated in Oxford so just curious on your thoughts.
