Michael Ealy and the kid were there simply to give that "Dolores" some kind of emotional attachment and thinking she's living that life. I think Dolores blew up the car to get rid of them, and even if it sacrificed Tessa's body so be it. Curious what happens and if Hale changes sides.
I'm enjoying this season a good bit more than last. Still some confusion going on, but think there's more rhyme to the reason than last season which seemed confusing just for the fun of it.
How in the fuck is it episode 7 and we’re still doing endless exposition on things that happened off screen
seems more and more likely that this show was always kind of shit, with anthony hopkins just covering up for everything and making it at least sound good
Just fucking garbage. Couldn't care less about "the plan"... any of the characters really, save for William who thanks to Harris is still moderately compelling. The dialogue is corny, the Caleb backstory was outrageously telegraphed (and also Paul is overacting his ass off) This is firmly in the "how stupid is it going to get" tier of TV watching for me. I'm honestly amazed at how thoroughly they've destroyed the enjoyment that used to be derived from the mystery (which in retrospect is all this show ever really had besides a cool future tech laden world) That whole scene with Clementine - woof.
Lol where were Musashi‘s bullets going? He pulled out a sub machine gun and started spraying from like 10 feet away.
Also how is it the hosts can fire a 9mm from a football field away and hit any human between the eyes but when it comes to host on host action they turn into stormtroopers
One of my biggest complaints about the season is what they’ve done with the world outside the park. They’ve made it so advanced that it 1. Doesn’t feel real and 2. Because it’s so advanced, takes away from the uniqueness of what the park was.
It’s just your standard sci-fi show now with characters carried over from an amazing season 1. If this didn’t have the Westworld connections, it would be a decent watch but everyone and everything was more interesting in season 1.
I think this season will go down as the worst but it was renewed for season 4 and I think this show went from the park to a war in the real world. we will need to pick sides, and I’m on team Ed Harris. hosts vs humans vs humans who hate the system and align with hosts vs Ed Harris
So this season is a transition season. I thought it was a good episode and the idea of human beings being re-educated like hosts was a good level up on this worlds overall society and science. Thought the idea of collecting all the data was relevant to today with FB and whatnot. overall I did enjoy that episode. And the Aaron Paul/Kid Cudi revelation. Dolores is a martyr for her kind and willing to die to give them a place in the world, but she’s also good and implanted herself in places. I’ll be curious if Tessa Thompson is someone who returns but this is Thandie and Evans show
i kind of always enjoy the episodes but see how bad it is compared to the good shows. I am just a sucker for that genre
I think this season could have been a lot better if the writers didn't have such an issue with plot armor. Bunch of storm troopers out there
Well no there is another William and Charlotte is still Dolores. I wouldn't be surprised if she reskinned herself back into an Evan Rachel Wood body. With how they brought Ford back in season 2 I seriously doubt they don't bring ERW back
Should’ve said human William and the “main” Dolores. I was interested in seeing William fight the hosts not with them.
Charlotte-Dolores has her family killed by Serac and now wants to stop Dolores from beating Serac? Doesn’t make sense to me.
They’re definitely bringing back Dolores/Hale skinned as Dolores and ERW will get to play a version of Dolores that turned back from the humanity killing path whether anyone will give a shit about this stupid show in 2 years/whether HBO cancels it before then, is another story
I liked the finale. Though Bernard’s purpose is still pointless and questionable. But I imagine season 4 will answer it.
Serac is already beaten. This is more along the lines of I think Charlorles has reassumed the role of the Wyatt narrative and wants to destroy everything
So how does the fidelity post credit scene with William way into the future from last season's finale play into everything now?
J Nolan has said the post credit season 2 William and his daughter scene was way in the future. Further than anything in the series including season 3. I’m curious how far in the future season 4 will take place. Bernard waking up was obviously a big jump ahead in time.
basically the entire time "IM GONNA DESTROY IT, WITH THIS" * needlessly flashes the key to, theoretically everything, in the middle of a literal fucking riot * Maeve was such a terrible character already, the cheapness of her transition was totally fitting. And before I'm asked, I watched because I loathe myself, on? These extras that HBO releases are nauseating. These people are so convinced they did smart compelling art here.
It’s pretty cool how you can access Rehobaum from the first floor lobby of their building. Doesn’t get much more convenient than that.
