Chelsea yellow are usually our best kits but Nike keeps trying these weird gimmicks for our 3rd kits and they suck.

 

The black and orange Chelsea kit was awesome other than the collar.

 

I agree but the orange never made sense to me. Yellow is one of our colors so I thought it should have been yellow instead of orange but the collar was awful

I think Nike has been a huge downgrade from UA in terms of design.

 

agree. which is weird. I liked a lot of y'alls UA stuff. I like the airmax stuff to an extent, but a lot of y'alls Nike stuff has been boring.

We had awesome kits one year in the championship when a villa fan in Birmingham designed them. Since then they’ve all been mediocre

 

I’m only giving you a chance to retract this because, as it turns out, the lettering appears to be blue and not orange.

 

It’s true. They stepped in when 1860 Munich reneged on the Allianz Arena deal and a deal was reached that gave them ownership in exchange for paying off the remainder of the stadium loan. They want to have as any DFB players on Bayern as possible (allegedly) and want them all to be Adidas sponsored. There’s talk that Kimmich will get passed over for Captain when Neuer retires from the DFB if he doesn’t switch from Nike to Adidas. Dumb, I know, but that’s the word.

Other sponsors of the DFB who are shareholders in Bayern include Audi and Hugo Boss.

Almost. But not quite. It’s like standing right on the edge of a building with your wiener hanging out. Technically you’re not peeing onto people but it’s really just a matter of time.

Jesus. Why does the league allow Adidas to walk over every kit? The three stripes can look incredible but it's not fucking required. And why not make them purple?

 

If I could change one thing about MLS I honestly think it would be allowing teams to sign kit deals with whatever manufacturer they wanted to. It’s so fucking lame having a single manufacturer for the entire league, but that’s Don G for you I guess.
