Yea this is gonna get binged hard
We finally get Medellin. Thanks Vincent Chase!
Do not even need to watch the trailer to know I'm in.
If the intelligence of the Entourage fanbase was ever in question, some of them actually wanted a movie about Pablo Escobar starring Adrian Grenier.
When does it premier? #googlethatforme
Did you watch the trailer in the OP?
Out of town all weekend then football starts the following week. I hope I can watch this soon as I'm quite intrigued
Going to watch a few episodes tonight.
I'm on episode 2, I like it.
Oberyn is back
Yeah this is good.
Really like the guy that plays the badass Colombian fed, was in end of watch and the cartel henchman in Breaking Bad.
In the middle of the first episode and yeah this is good shit
Still hoping for Danger Beach
Really excited after watching the 1st episode.
Yeah I thought it was excellent. Loved the Scorcese style narrative.
might have to check out the first ep on my flight today, i'm intrigued
so good. the actor playing Escobar reminds me of a Hispanic Michael Shannon.
man, I loved the first episode.
During the preview, I thought it might be a little too Johnny Deppish but after watching the first episode, it's closer to Henry Hill.
Really enjoying this show so far. Apparently those Elite Squad movies from the director and guy playing Escober are pretty good too.
Spoiler: 2nd episode
Lotta banging going on.
It's rained all day here.. I've knocked out 4 episodes. It's still really good. And I want to have sex with all of the Colombian chicks on this show.
even the old ladies?
Especially the old ladies
I used to know Noriega's goddaughter, her family was rich as fuck.
Not sure I'm digging the Spanish with subtitles. Overall quality is top notch.
No idea what her dad did, she was on my sister's basketball team in high school and only ever saw the mom. Lived in a $3/$4 million house easily.
Anybody else find it disorienting when they brought it back to the nightclub shootout/death of poison? Felt like odd sequencing to me...
I've watched the first 4 episodes and I'm a fan. I love how they have brought in historical/actual footage where I've actually learned quite a few things from the show.
i've seen three episodes. love it so far.
as a colombian, i was worried that it wouldn't feel authentic, but they filmed it on location. lots of the actors are nailing the medellin accent. the brazilian guy playing escobar has a weird accent, but he's a great actor.
Really enjoying it. Although the narration sounding so similar to Ray Liota in goodfellas bothers me for some reason.
I liked it a lot but they messed most of merged some of the characters, messed with the time lines and rushed them also made up some stuff when they should not have had too.
Really enjoyed it
except when that motherfucker shot the dog for no reason RIP
this is pretty incredible.
Finished this yesterday. It's awesome. So glad they decided not to have everyone speak English with an accent instead of just going with everyone speaking Spanish.
This show is fucking awesome.
Just watched the first episode. Really nicely done. Going to try and rattle a couple more episodes off while at work....
I tried watching at work... The subtitles make it really hard to watch while being somewhat productive. Damn it. But I do agree with the earlier post that I am much happier that they went with the subtitles vs. English with shitty accents.
Who said anything about being productive?
Saw this pop up on my Netflix on Saturday when I woke up. Watched the first episode without having any expectations and was pretty impressed. Although, reading all those subtitles hungover was not fun at all
Great series, loved it.
