I only watch with subtitles. It's why I hate going to the movies.
I can understand, makes it hard to watch the show if you don't want to commit to keeping your eyeballs on the screen at all times. That's how I watch most stuff. Alas, I still have watched both seasons, it has just taken me a super long time to do it.
Gonna watch it after the holiday. Can't wait
Looking forward to it.
Some EJ Olmos this season. Only watched the first ep but I hope he gets more screen time. He's a boss.
finished it today, solid
I'm through the fourth episode and it just started picking up. I'm excited about the rest of the season.
finished it. Enjoyed it. I do wish a death scene or two was more vicious. One motherfucker needed to be skinned alive. Those of you who watched know who I mean.
Never enough of our CIA friend
Could have used more negavante too imo.
It's amazing the amount of pointless shit that happened in the name of this "war" that nobody really wanted
Show sure does love its wu tang
lol @ the accountant when he is testifying
If they follow the thread to Juarez shit is gonna be off the chain
Halfway done, been best season by far.
Yeah. I was worried that post-Escobar would be a tough transition but man they hit this season out of the park. Really hope they keep it going. Totally underrated series.
Yeah, this very well may have been the best season, so far. It's such a fast-paced, easy binge watch.
I listened to Sepinwall's podcast and they alluded to the show setting up for a transition into Mexico and could eventually branch of into El Chapo territory, as well.
I mean the last episode does that exactly.
Really enjoyed this season
Very good season. Salcedo's wife was smoking but also a bitch.
Just finished S3. This show is so fucking good.
Just finished. S3 was easily the best season so far.
The Maria Salazar chick is so damn hot. I want her inside me.
On Ep. 4.... really good
Through e9 which was fucking amazing.
Season has been incredible
Just finished last night, fantastic. Paola
Runner up for Miss Universe.
Looked it up myself, she's insane.
I always found the Cali guys more interesting IRL, but season 3 was definitely better overall. Appreciate the dramatic licensing used by bringing Pena back for a familiar face. But all 4 of the Cali godfathers were captivating this season, and Salcedo's story really added a lot. There was no replacing the gravity that Moura brought to Pablo, but I think the disparate focus and stories allowed for a better story. Alberto Amman as Pacho was pretty fucking good though
I finished last night as well. The season was great. Miguel's girlfriend is fire as well.
The main Cali hitman was a great character as well. Creepy as shit.
Absolutely. He's talking about the love of his life and for a minute you think he has a soul. Then, you realize he's going to kill her and that's why he needs to get a night off from killing for the job.
finished today. this was my favorite show of the year. that being said, i will forever be annoyed by the non-colombian accents in the show. miguel rodriguez couldn't sound more mexican if he tried
This sold me on watching the third season
I was hoping to see so many sex scenes with her... left disappointed.
finished S3 the other night. Agree with those who felt this season was the best. My favorite character/actor was Chepe. Pepe Rapazote was amazing on screen. He had some of the best scenes of the season. The barbershop, the dinner and his final meal where he called the cops on himself. A close 2nd was Pacho I enjoyed him very much. This show moves at a crazy pace but I felt they could've stretched this season into another as the parts felt rushed. For as strong as Chepe and Pacho how they wrapped up the deaths of these men felt underwhelming and just tossed in.
Looking forward to our path to Mexico.
Agreed on their deaths. Would have liked to have seen more of Chepe in NYC.
Narcos’ Location Scout Found Shot Dead in Mexico 6 / 19

Mexican location scout Carlos Muñoz Portal was shot to death in a violent region in central Mexico Monday while scouting for season four of Netflix’s hit show “Narcos.” The seasoned scout, who worked for Stacy Perskie’s Mexico City-based production company Redrum, has a slew of high profile credits to his name, including, “Sicario,” “Spectre,” “Fast & Furious” and “Apocalypto.”
Netflix issued the following statement: “We are aware of the passing of Carlos Muñoz Portal, a well-respected location scout, and send our condolences to his family. The facts surrounding his death are still unknown as authorities continue to investigate.
Several Mexican journalists posted photos along with the news.Muñoz’s bullet-riddled body and car were found in a remote area near the borders of Hidalgo state, which is said to have the highest murder rate in Mexico. In July, 182 cases of homicide were reported in the densely populated state, a ratio of 12.2 for every 100,000 inhabitants.
According to local reports, authorities have had trouble piecing together the circumstances that led to his killing, given the dearth of witnesses.
Netflix’s season 4 is said to be exploring the origins of Mexico’s infamous Juarez cartel just as season 3 focused on the rise and fall of Colombia’s Cali cartel and heralded the shift of the drug wars to Mexico.
Munoz’s murder raises doubts on whether the production will continue in Mexico or move back to Colombia where it began. Such a decision would imperil hundreds of jobs that the series’ production would have generated in Mexico.
Man fuck Mexico... always and forever
when peña's dad warned him that mexico was different at the end of the season, this is the shit he was warning him about. cartels in colombia were never this willing, open, or ruthless about killing civilians.
It was like the border scene in Sicario where the two carloads of Mexican cartel thugs are sent to kill. They know they are dead, that's a given. Just a question of can they get to the drug lord being brought back to USA.
They don't give a fuck.
Good read, long but good. Dude who took over since they focused on El Chapo. Makes Cali cartel look like Disneyland.
Navegante? He was in the first 2 seasons as well, used to work for Pablo
just read this. never ending battle.
awesome season and series, hope they do another season.
4 is already confirmed
I couldn’t sit down
I finished today. Probably my favorite season so far. The show just keeps delivering
Just finished S3 last night and, as others have said, I think it was the best so far. The Salcedo story was a nice touch and so many of his scenes had me on edge. My only disappointment is that Pena never got to punch the CIA officer in the face.
Hands down my favorite show going right now.
I just hate I watch like 4 episodes at a time and it's over in 3 days.
dciap, the intro song/scenes to this show is one of my favorite of all time. it sets the tone/scene perfectly.
