A bit. But for the record, nobody is actually excited about the uniform. It's the same recycled shit from Adidas and they are not good at all.
the jersey, base layer, gloves, and socks each have different patterns. is this now what teenagers find popular and trendy?
after a recent trip to a shopping mall, all it needs is a slightly small backpack and its pretty darn close to what the youths like.
University of Texas officials have reached a 15-year agreement with Nike in what is expected to be the richest shoe and apparel deal in college sports, the American-Statesman has learned. Two sources familiar with the negotiations said the talks are complete. However, the contract must be forwarded to the UT System Board of Regents for final approval. The annual, agreed-upon total is unknown, but one source said it’s “higher than Michigan.” The Wolverines signed a 15-year deal with Nike this summer worth an estimated $169 million. At the time, it was widely hailed as the biggest deal in college sports. Texas’ deal will likely blow past Michigan’s. The Longhorns have been the No. 1 seller of T-shirts, hats and other merchandise for nine straight years, according to the Collegiate Licensing Company rankings.
The Colorado silver stuff is absolutely fantastic, but when did it become an official school color? Or has it always been and they just didn't market it until recently?
Beneficiary of contract: University of Texas Amount: Higher than Michigan Signature: ________Bevo______________
Even the model for it looks dumb. Should've found a to model it for it to be a more representative sample.
It's like the execs at Adidas looked at two completely different uniform designs and said, "What if we took the tops from these and combined it with the shorts from those?". . . ."OMG- BRILLIANT!"
Michigan and Nebrasketball have had the same cookie cutter adidas uniforms the last few seasons. Pen yet another chapter in the Book of Fuck Us.
when we signed out deal, it was common knowledge all of the Nike flagship schools were gonna get raises
http://thelab.bleacherreport.com/nfl-x-nba-jersey-mashups/ Best of this type of thing we have seen imo. Some are awesome looking as well. (Bleacher report and a talented photoshop person combine NBA teams using the mascots of their NFL team in the city or state)
Seattle (as somebody that hates this city for sports it says what I think of these mock-ups) Brooklyn Charlotte Milwaukee/Green Bay Oakland honorable mention Boston Knicks Dallas The only ones I really don't like are Timberwolves, Wizards, Cleveland's are somehow worse than Browns current jersey's, & Hawks.
Charlotte and Philadelphia are best imo. Not sure why those are called mashups tho. There's no trace of the NFL team in any of them. They are just NBA jerseys turned into NFL ones.
There are some rumors that Adidas really wants to try to steal Ohio State away from Nike. Don't think it will happen but if it does, pretty much all of OSU TMB is going to Julius Caesar on our AD Gene Smith
