Every time I think about going to an NFL game I open this thread. Quick reminder that most Bucs fans are trash combined with the videos does the trick
I've been to probably close to a hundred of NFL games and never gotten into a fight. been a few close calls, but as long as you're not an angry, drunk idiot it's pretty avoidable.
He even hits the guy that is knocked out one more time after it calms down. I understand maybe a few extra punches after a guy gets knocked out cause of heat of the battle, but the hair guy is a straight up pussy.
I can't tell if the dude that knocked out was even involved prior to getting hit in the back of the head.
I'd probably knock this number up quite a bit. it's just nothing but sub-human trash in overpriced jerseys as far as the eye can see.
Why are Chiefs fans fighting other Chiefs fans? That dude with the beard that gets laid out doesn’t even appear to be a part of the initial scrum. Terrible. Hope he’s ok
Yeah my stepdad had season tickets in the dawg pound for years and I went to tons of games and while we would occasionally see fights, never came close to getting in a fight. And we’re talking about Philly and Cleveland so it seems like it’d be easily avoidable other places
I think if I had to pick one place you’re most likely to get in a serious fight it would be a Dodger game.
especially when they play each other Seems like someone always gets critically injured when the giants and dodgers play
Yeah someone just mentioned Dodgers and I’ve never been to a game where we played them but I’ve heard they’re pretty bad at games. Think something happened here when they played the Astros this year. Edit: nvm it was in LA, not Houston.
My brother in law had season tickets to the Raiders in Oakland and I would go like once a year as a neutral and always saw a fight or multiple fights, usually amongst Raiders fans was amusing
I’ve probably been to 50+ Dodgers games in my twenty years in LA and never seen a fight. That said, I wouldn’t wear the opposing team’s gear especially in the OF bleachers. I’m a colossal pussy, so I never wear visiting gear regardless. NFL seems like a whole different beast to me
Been to close to 100 titans games and have never seen a fight. Although, one preseason game in like 2012 some 70 year old man threatened to kick my friends ass. We were talking about the game and the players who would likely be starting in the regular season and he turned to us and goes “quit talking like a bunch of pussies and watch the game.” My friend was drunk as hell and starting talking back to the man so he threatened to kick our ass. His grown son was very apologetic and you could see the old man had a stack of about 12 empty beers. It wasn’t even halftime yet…
I’ve been to 4 Giants vs Doyers in LA and granted I was poor in college in shitty seats or bleachers……I was seriously threatened with violence each time haven’t gone back since that was 2002, not worth some cholos knocking me out in front of my family just because I have Giants gear on
I’m a Bronco fan. My boy is a Az Cardinal fan. I look like a biker/ “OG”/“veterano” mix. So being in opposition gear and looking like I do there is no way I wouldn’t get tested. Fuck going to a game in LA (other than UCLA).
Not really. I’ve been to triple-figure LA sporting events and I can count fights I’ve witnessed on one hand. Though I’m just a happy go lucky white dude
Fidelio agreed. The only time I’ve ever been really in play for getting in a fight was in the bleachers of a White Sox game. And I had a near-miss at an Illinois game, so I blame prickly South Siders with inferiority complexes.
to be fair I’ve been in one fight don’t remember seeing any. I’m just saying that the way I look if I was wearing opposing teams gear I’d probably get tested.
Seen plenty of fights, only been in one, at a sporting event. Outside the stadium in Juarez after Mexico played Venezuela. Had a cinder block chucked at me, but luckily I was sober enough to evade
The only people who deserve to get beat up are people that wear jerseys of teams that aren't playing in the game being attended. You see this mostly with Steelers and Cowboys fans.
Feel like MLB isn’t far behind in this regard. Fans knocking off stadium bucket lists and letting everyone else know which third party team they root for. Just show up and observe the game in normal people attire.
Never expected neutral team gear to be so controversial, but now that I’m aware of this I’ll make an effort to wear it in the future.
If you go to another major league park that's not your team, wear a minor league hat or something. Never had any issues Edit: most fans won't even know what it means, and the ones that do are civilized enough to just strike up a convo about it
I could see college stuff at pro games. If I went to watch the Cubs play someone at Wrigley I’m not wearing my Cards hat but I may wear a Razorbacks hat.
ive been to a ton of Cubs cardinals games in Chicago and St. Louis and have never seen an altercation.
