I'm gonna start posting my picks for the hell of it. This is only my second week getting into this, had some beginners luck last week and went 5-1. NFL: Steelers -3 Jags -3 Houston -3 Baltimore -6.5 49ers -3.5 Pats +2 Also a parlay of Jags/Ravens/49ers/Pats NCAA: Boise/TCU over 58 Oregon/Stanford over 67.5 Stanford -3.5 Penn State +3 USC -11.5 USF -3 All lines from Bookmaker, we'll see how it goes this week.
Just to add to it, hit the over on Houston/Tulane last night, lost the over on Raiders/Chargers last night so 1-1 so far this week.
Went 11-3-1 on the week. Added a bet on the Titans +160. Too bad the Ravens screwed me out of my parlay and were my biggest play of the week. Currently have a parlay open of Pats +3, Pats/Jets over 47.5, Green Bay -13, GB/Minnesota over 50. We'll see if that hits.
Alright, finalized my picks today. 1-2 on the week so far. College: Wisconsin -14 (L) Michigan -3 (W) Boise State -16.5 (W) USC +14.5 (W) K State +9 (W) SMU Houston over 75 (L) Cal Stanford over 55.5 (W) Va Tech -10.5 (L) NFL: Tennessee Atlanta over 44 Seattle St. Louis over 37.5 (very small bet, just wanted to put something on it cause the number's so low) San Francisco -9.5 Detroit -7 Dallas -7.5 Buffalo +2.5 New England -14.5
Thanks man. Thanksgiving picks: Im not picking any of the games on the spread or money line for my straight bets, just going with the over/unders. They are the best bets for these games in my opinion. I like Detroit/GB over 56, Dallas/Miami over 44, and SF/Baltimore under 38.5. Also, I'm messin around with some small money thanksgiving parlays. One of GB -255, Dallas -305, San Fran +155, and Detroit/GB over 56. ($15 to win $119.99). Second parlay is GB -6, Detroit/GB over 56, Miami/Dallas over 44, Dallas -7, and SF/Baltimore under 38.5. ($15 to win $365.39). Doubt the parlays will hit, but it's Thanksgiving and it'll be fun to watch. Good luck to everyone this week!
Terrrrrible week so far. Lost today on Houston over 75, Arkansas plus 12.5. Hit on Houston -3. Yesterday the Thanksgiving games killed me. Anyway, here's tomorrow's picks: Clemson +150 Baylor -12.5 Penn State +14.5 Auburn +21.5
NFL Card: Houston -3...Jumped on this one big early in the week, line has since moved to 6.5. Really need this one to bounce back. Jets -9.5 Carolina -3 Cincinnati -6.5 New England -3 Giants +7.5 Denver/SD under 41.5
This week a number of the NFL games should hit under the lines, possible overadjustment after last weekend's games. Especially the early games. If that Denver/SD line moves down more, it might be worth it to play the over. SD has looked like hot garbage all season and so has Denver, but something about it feels like it could be a high scoring game...now watch it turn into a 6-5 slugfest.
I'm playing the under on Broncos games until I am proven otherwise. Tebow's offense kills the clock, their defense is playing lights out, just an all around recipe for low scoring games thus far.
Definitely can't blame that, could possibly do the same with the Bears depending on who and where they play. Took the over on the MNF game once I saw Bradshaw was out again. Probably wouldn't have made a difference since he doesn't play in the secondary.
NCAA Picks: USF +2.5 * LSU -13.5 *** Wisconsin -9.5 *** Baylor -2.5 ** K State -10.5 * Houston -13 * OU/Ok St. over 74 ** No Ill/Ohio over 70 *
Small slate of NFL picks today. Mostly playing some BS parlays to try and make some money back, terrible strategy but I got killed yesterday. Here are my straight picks tho: Baltimore -6.5 Tennessee +115 Green Bay -6 49ers -13.5 Also threw in a small amount on one of those fantasy points H2H plays, Megatron -2 vs. Colston
welp, green bay was a tough beat. had them at -6.5, almost thought they'd go for the TD. in hindsight i wish i'd made some play on a few of the earlier games today. for some reason saw that Denver was down with 4 minutes left and felt like they'd win anyway.
Yeah, that was a tough game to pick. Just when you start thinking the Giants are done they always pull out a few good games. They just love being the underdog. I try to avoid picking games against/for them simply because they are so erratic. I think I'm gonna start wagering more money on only a few games, as opposed to spreading my money around on games I'm less confident on. It seems to kill me. Ended up going 3-1 today on games that I just felt very confidently about as opposed to yesterday pointlessly using/losing money on so many college games.
Week 14: Atlanta -3*** Atlanta/Carolina U48* San Fran -4** San Fran/Arizona U40* Baltimore -16** Denver -3.5* Denver/Chicago U35.5**
And, small $10 ML parlay of Houston +120, Philly +145, NYG +160 to win $130.14 And a small $15 parlay of 49ers -4, 49ers/Arizona U40, Denver -3.5, Denver/Chicago U35.5 to win $184.25
Great start to bowl season: Had Temple -7, and a teaser of Ohio +6, ULL +11.5, and FIU +2 NFL tomorrow: Green Bay -13.5** Jets +3* Denver +7* Tennessee -6.5** Seattle +3.5** Teaser: Titans -.5 Saints -.5 Bengals -.5 Parlay: Redskins +6.5 Titans -6.5 Seattle +3.5 Packers -13.5 Green Bay -13.5 Jets +3 Titans -6.5 Small underdog ML parlay $13 to win $254.41: Carolina +240 Seattle +175 NYJ +120
Tell me about it man. I got absolutely murdered today. Took out a good chunk of my winnings for the year. Hoping bowl season makes up for it. This just sucks
I did a 6 pt teaser and teased the spread to Houston +2 and over 31. Didn't even want to pick this game to be honest, but if I had to pick I'd take Houston and the under.
Well now that it moved to 4.5 I might take Cinci. I don't know man, I'm not touching this game straight up, so don't put a lot of stock in what I say.
