chiefs need to stop fucking around and make Rice their main guy outside he seems by far their best yet he's stuck in this dumb rotation
Justin Watson being at the center of so many plays is an indictment on the state of Chiefs pass catchers not named Travis Kelce, who may in fact be warshed
Yeah but that’s much less fun to say. But…offense looked like trash tonight. Awful against Denver. Bad against Miami. This is not your slightly younger self’s kanas city chefs
Veach deserves some prison time for assembling this bunch of receivers and not getting one at the deadline
America’s sweethearts come into arrowhead in the regular season and win, chiefs win the Super Bowl. Tale as old as time.
I'm with bro Mahomes knew the route and the sticks, he has to get that out earlier that said, can't let it go through your hands there even if you're being hit
Didnt ESPN show a graphic that the chiefs are only averaging 5 points in the 2nd half? That’s pathetic.
given that Watson stinks, probably quite a bit more help. doesn't excuse the drop. it is a chaotic play. not laying blame on Mahomes. gave his guy more than a chance, plus the dime to MVS. but it probably contributed to the drop
mahomes did a good job getting it to a guy in position for a first down. doesn't mean it was perfect. it should have been enough, but the comment is fair. he had to sit there as the defense closed in. he was open earlier than I would have expected
It’s like he wanted to prove a point by winning with as little investment in skill positions besides Mahomes and Kelce as possible
Still can’t believe Andy punted on 4th and 4 from the 39 that’s insanity with like Howell tier QBs let alone the best QB I’ve ever seen
I would blame Watson for standing there instead of moving back to the ball more than Mahomes waiting to see where he ended up if we're just talking about the contact affecting the catch.
if my TE/WR is running 25 yards and turning at the sticks, I probably don't want him going forward too much to catch the ball, losing precious field position
As an Eagles fan, this is literally what Andy does. He does not invest in the WR spot and the few times he did (TO) they got instantly better. https://syndication.bleacherreport....tion-andy-reids-wide-receiver-legacy.amp.html
Another perfect Eagles win in a season full of them so far get the W, everyone is happy for about 5 minutes and then local sports talk radio will be 96% negative all week for a 9-1 team
at this point it just is what it is with the WRs and it comes back to Andy not knowing what he has at that spot
