They announced Cool Cats set owners would be the first but not if there is another level in that to qualify. I’m pretty safe either way.
Anyone still in Zed Run? I'm sitting 4th in their latest tournament and should make the quarterfinals in a few days
Topshot series 3 base packs available today. Got 5. Only 1 of 15 moments was LE, a /9999 Paul George. These packs are basically solely for trade tickets at this point
Bought 5 as well. Pulled a 2531/12000 Cory Joseph. Nothing else really worth a shit. Best would be a Trae or a Dame but doubt they’re worth anything
Have they notified all the members yet? Assuming I'm not in if I haven't heard :( speaking of dapper though, the flash challenge tonight is a doozie. Will require 5 rare moments but the prize is a Cool Cats drop 1 pack
If you didn’t get an email yet, then I would assume you won’t be in the first round of the closed Beta.
It’s a pointless challenge - just airdrop the packs to those that qualify. No one is buying anything to complete the challenge.
Just checked this morning and yep, unless you pull a Lamelo or super low serial it's a losing prop even if you only need to buy 1 more moment to complete it
Struck out on getting an NFL All Day pack. There are ~450 premium packs available and ~2,500 lined up. Regular packs will be released on Monday. Drop was pushed back a few times. UK Buddy did get one pack and got a rare and three commons. Gardner Minshew was one. The pack was just week 13 moments (and only about 5% of supply) so it seems like they will go open Beta soon.
Grabbed a Neo Tokyo Outer Citizen today for 1 ETH and floor is currently 7 ETH. Their V1 (Inner citizen) has a floor of 60 ETH. Might take my profits here soon and call it a day.
I've signed an NDA w/ the current gig so can't really discuss but nothing super interesting going on. I'd still like to get a dev team and create a DAO but that's still nothing more than an idea/dream at this point. Still have a lot of artists/creators from the last project reaching out looking for someone to create a minting page for them. TBH I've taken a lot of time off between family stuff, rotator cuff injury, and re-injuring my rotator cuff fly fishing the past few months. Not very active on Discord and Twitter, although there's been lots of Twitter drama worth catching up on recently.
https://nflallday.com/moments/8bdd47e6-1149-4f3c-ba55-05349d3b59be Got my first pack of NFL All Day. Got a rare Cooper Kupp which was a 27.3% to receive anything but a common. These clips are much longer than Top Shot.
Adidas teaming with Punks Comics & Bored Apes White Castle dropping NFTs (lol) McDonalds... ok next.. Nike just bought a project and the tokens nearly 10X'ed on the spot Budweiser owns the beer.eth ENS domain Pepsi did an NFT whitelist that was botted and filled before the link was posted to Twitter Let's not forget that Visa owns a Cryptopunk and is building a platform on the ETH network. Coinbase & Crypto.com are becoming household names. I'm sure I'm missing some other big names, and some have probably already cut deals with existing projects (... looking at you Amazon Prime..). BTC influencers on Twitter have been scooping up NFTs like CryptoPhunks. This part is really cute. I don't think we are so early anymore. A nice little dip seems like a good time to get more Metahero Universe tokens or buy into DeadHeads or Gutter Cats while you still can. These aren't to flip in 3 weeks or 6 months. Although I bet a Gutter Cat Gang species could 2X here in the next week or so. GM NFA DYOR WAGMI
I’ve been doing it over the last couple days. I’m over top shot, and have been since series 3 dropped. Also have a baby coming so don’t really have the fuck around money anymore to do NFT stuff.
Dino floor has 2x in the last week with the tokens about to release end of December. I’ve got my Neo Tokyo S2 and trying to decide what to do with that. Was so close to buying in on CloneX and didn’t
CloneX was wild. I would have effed that drop up and sold before the news just based on the things I was hearing at the time. So many people fumbled that drop while a few knew exactly what was going down. I'm actually surprised it's taken dinos so long to get the token released but it's great timing with the Coinbase marketplace. Looks like I missed this one from earlier too
Iggy and Curry are very active within NFTs. Iggy drops in the metav3rse discord from time to time to chat.
Topshot Legendary and Rare drops next week. legendary drop requires 25,000 CS for queue 1 and 10,000 for queue 2. $999 pack Rare drop is 7,500 and 2,500. $89 pack I think im going to start slowly liquidating and moving to other stuff
I cashed out last week. Still.have like 30 moments that I haven't been able to get rid of. Spent $14 total..cashed out $1200 not bad lol
Anyone holding a Universe DAO token has early access to the Adidas mint going on right now. .2 to buy and floor is flying https://www.adidas.com/into_the_metaverse
TopShot just announced that they will give back 5% of your marketplace spend - marketplace sell. “We’re always learning, and as such, our roadmaps can and do change. To keep you informed, we plan on putting out updates to this blog on a quarterly basis. We consider it a good thing for our biggest fans to get to know where our collective heads are at, what is getting prioritized and how the big things you want to see are being addressed. This list is not fully comprehensive, as there are several other exciting initiatives we are working on but aren’t quite ready to share. We hope that everything you read above speaks to you. We are here for the long haul, and the plans outlined above will help us continue to lay our foundation for decades to come. And one more thing: to celebrate the holiday season, we are proud to announce a one-time gift back event happening this weekend. For existing fans, we’re dropping Dapper Balance back as a huge THANK YOU. We took a snapshot of all accounts on Wednesday, Dec 15, 2021 and will be gifting 5% of your all-time net spend on the Marketplace back to you directly in the form of Dapper credit.* Stay tuned for a further update this weekend. *Net Marketplace Spend is the amount of all Marketplace purchases minus the amount of all Marketplace sales (after 5% Marketplace fee).” Spoiler When NBA Top Shot launched a little over a year ago, “web3” and “NFT” were barely blips on the radar. Together we brought NFTs into the mainstream and charted a new course in sports fandom. But the job is just getting started. Here’s a behind the scenes look at our team’s top priorities for 2022 as we continue our journey to bring Top Shot to millions of NBA fans. Please note that the following does not include any mention of marketing initiatives, IRL experiences or future set details. This blog, rather, will share more perspective about economy-focused product features we’re building and where our priorities stand in that regard for the year ahead. Let’s jump into it: Following up on our Content Roadmap from the beginning of Series 3 in October, we are setting strict limits on Legendaries going forward: in Series 3 (2021-22), no more than 10,000 total Legendary Moment™ NFTs will be sold in packs, with no individual Legendary Moment™ minted to an Edition Size greater than 99. The first Legendary pack drop of the 2021-22 season will be Deck The Hoops: 2010s, easily one of the best NBA Top Shot drops ever. On the same day, we’ll be dropping our first Rare packs of the 2021-22 season. Both are seminal sets coming at a historic time for Top Shot and the NBA. Collect what you love –– and what you believe in long-term. We’re doubling down on this mantra in the new year with new systems to reward collectors primarily based on their spend. If you want to stack 1,000 Cody Zeller Moments, go ahead and do that. If you want to scoop up all the greatest players in the rarest of tiers, you can do that too. Rewards in Top Shot will scale with how much you engage –– no matter how you choose to. Fans can also expect to see even more targeted airdrops of packs and other rewards, especially for full sets and, of course, Marketplace engagement. Our recent updates to Challenges have been a huge hit. In 2022, you can look forward to new types of Challenges at a higher frequency, dynamic degrees of difficulty throughout the week, different kinds of prizes and even more ways to bring you closer to the NBA. NBA Top Shot is a global marketplace, which means it benefits from having all the necessary features for price discovery and connectivity between fans. We’ve heard you loud and clear: you need to be able to hunt for what you want on your terms. A bidding feature that provides additional market transparency as well as reduced friction for price discovery is a top priority for the NBA Top Shot and Dapper teams in 2022. Bids will create more transaction velocity for Top Shot Moments and increase Marketplace match-making. We will share more details on this feature as soon as possible. Thanks to our friends at LiveToken, we are excited to share Favorite Team Leaderboards with the community. These leaderboards will help fans compete with each other to show off their passion. Teams want to know who their biggest fans are, and there’s incredible untapped potential for competition and loyalty rewards here – from merch to on court experiences, and everything in between. Ever find yourself obsessively checking and rechecking a Moment in the Marketplace regularly? Well, good news. This week, the first version of a “Watchlist” feature rolled out to help you better track the Moments you have your eye on. There’s no denying that our community members like to flex their achievements. After rolling out the “Set Completion Badges” on profiles, the response reinforced our need to give fans more personalizations and easier ways to organize what they own. Putting your Top Shot Moments at the center of your metaverse persona is an important opportunity to provide utility to the rarest and most highly sought-after Moments on the platform. Fans should be able to flex their accounts everywhere they go, from social networks to metaverse worlds. Pack drops are always an exciting time. There's nothing like queueing up with thousands of other collectors, hoping to snag a pack and sharing that experience together. We regularly see Queues that can reach collector numbers into the six figures. Next year, we expect even larger turnout and, to meet that, accelerating performance has been a top priority for us. We have made a number of important technical improvements over the past several weeks and will be testing greater throughput in upcoming drops, preparing for growth in 2022 and beyond. We all remember what it was like to first sign up to NBA Top Shot. The excitement of ripping open your first pack, browsing for your first Moment, reading the collectible details. It’s exciting, there is truly nothing like it. But, it can come with a big learning curve – terms or processes like Moment tiers, minting, blockchain, NFT wallet, identity verification, etc. can be daunting to new collectors. We have a series of NBA Top Shot improvements aimed at first-timers as well as folks coming back day after day, enabling you to rip packs and trade on the Marketplace in a way that respects scarcity limits and maintains a healthy dynamic between all parts of the community. We’re always learning, and as such, our roadmaps can and do change. Ugh I don't have any ETH anywhere right now and the limits straight from MetaMask are capped at like 400-500 I think. Going to try to figure it out, thanks for the heads up
I can buy up to 1.5 Eth directly in my Coinbase wallet. Wallets are just skins and your key code are what’s important. Don’t waste fees transferring from wallet to wallet
How do you get the ETH from Coinbase into meta without transferring? Or do you not do that at all and mint some other way?
If you have the Coinbase wallet app, open a MetaMask wallet extension and use your Coinbase key. The wallet provider is irrelevant edit: or vice versa I guess. And I may be able to buy that much directly because I have assets in CB. But regardless, you shouldn’t need to transfer wallet to wallet
Awesome, this worked, thanks a ton. I also found 80 CVX in that wallet that I bought in June and completely forgot about. That was a nice surprise
Do you have to move your crypto from Coinbase to the Coinbase wallet first? I might just be crypto dumb but moving crypto around never seems very easy
did this sell out instantaneously? I was watching the countdown and as soon as it got to 0 it just told me they were sold out
TopShot really needs a portfolio trade feature. It takes forever to sell your moments unless they are part of a showcase or challenge.
Your wallet key is the only thing that matters. The Coinbase app skin will let you easily connect to Coinbase (retail) though. I admit that I haven’t looked into it much but the wallet skin doesn’t matter, the wallet keys do. *I don’t believe this applies to cold storage devices
Is there an easy way to see whether you're getting it or not? separately, just reread the announcement and sounds like they're finally introducing bidding on moments instead of just straight buy/sell. If that's accurate it's a major improvement
