As stated previously, Columbus is going to move him quicker than they’ll want to. And their leverage becomes very small at that point.
Rangers have some nice pieces to offer up, but Strome would have to be moved in the process to accommodate the salary. Some of the ideas being floated around are ridiculous though.
Wings and Jackets game ended with some scraps. Teams are right back at it tomorrow night. I love the baseball scheduling and I hope the league keeps it going moving forward (as much as they can)
Yeah, they're best friends from UM haha. 'They threw a couple punches, but also smiled at each other. "We were laughing a little," Werenski said. "We weren’t holding back. I was trying to win the fight, and I think he was as well." Werenski said his phone was blowing up after the game with texts from his friends. "I'm going to have to get a picture of it blown up and framed in my house," he said.'
This BOS-NYI game is brutal to watch. I know this is the game the Islanders want to play, but Boston seems completely lost without Pastrnak and Krug.
I missed this last year. Granted Im sure a lot of people did considering it was a Panthers Sharks game
1. I don’t think they accept that. 2. Like I’ve said previously, I don’t think they get anywhere close to what they’re asking for for him.
Watching the Willie O'Ree documentary...how the fuck did he make the NHL with one fucking eye? As a black dude in the 50s
I’ve seen that called holding before. That’s a penalty imo. No attempt to make a play on the puck. Just a blatant grab of the stick.
I still can’t believe Vlasic is making 7 million a year until he’s 39. That contract may be worse than seabrook’s when it’s all said and done
with the cap staying flat these bad contracts have become absolutely detrimental for some of these teams.
The lightning had games with Dallas cancelled and now potentially games with the hurricanes canceled. We are going to be making up a lot of games at the end up the season
they are terribly built, why did they think they needed to give 11.5 per on a 8 years contract to karlsson when they already had burns is something that I will never understand. Vlasic was never a flashy guy, is he bad defensively now?
Seabrook went from indispensable top pairing defenseman on a Cup winner to absolute toast in 6 months after signing his deal. So I feel this pain
He was minus 10 last year which is the best on his team as a regular d. but obviously plus/minus doesn’t tell the whole story. I rarely watch them play but I remember him being pretty bad for a few games against Vegas in the playoffs a couple of years ago. He was always playing against the stone line though. Not easy but that’s the job of a shutdown guy. At some point the body can’t follow these young fast players anymore.
Yeah, his was even more steep than most, but the NHL age curve is a total bitch. Which is why signing 4 guys to long term big money deals of which the youngest when up is 37- was such GM malpractice.
That's a bummer. Getting those stats in game was pretty cool. Parayko had a 99 mph shot the other night which is impressive in live action
Montour just hit Provorov into Hutton and then started punching Provorov in the head while he laid in the net for making contact with his goalie. interesting strategy.
