I, for one, am proud to remember saying that he was playing above his level and that at some point he would revert back to his mean. Also that he is super frail so softness will catch up with him at some point too.

Rangers blow another. Outplayed the Penguins again but Shesterkin gave up 2 softies. Honestly, I’ve seen enough of Quinn as well. This team can’t hold onto a lead and can’t extend. They need a big shakeup and the best way to do it is to get rid of a guy that’s always been in over his head.
Rangers have a lot of the same roster problems as the Canucks. They have 4-5 great to good forwards, but after that their depth sucks also have a huge amount of dead money

Rangers have outplayed their opponents in every game but the first game against the Islanders. It’s a combination of lackadaisical play, loss of focus, and poor goaltending that have cost them the other games. The Rangers problem is up the middle, it’s not overall forward depth, the winger depth is great.
Yeah the Rangers have actually looked good per most advanced stats this year. They regularly get leads, but lose them late in the 3rd period...most of the time on weak goals against. Zibanejad and Kreider need to be better. The goalies need to be better. Jack Johnson needs to never play again. And they need to stop forcing cross-ice one timers every single offensive possession. They’re seemingly allergic to trying to score non-highlight reel goals.
You mean firing a puck across ice at 60mph through 4 guys for a poor angle one timer isn’t a high percentage chance?
The PP is literally this over and over and over for 2 straight minutes. The good news is they’re gaining the zone and holding possession for those two minutes. The bad news is they’re not challenging a single goaltender they play.
