On the 31 Thoughts podcast Friedman says teams are pushing to delay the draft until next December but Friedman doesn’t think the PA will go for it without major concessions related to service time. He also said two teams brought up the idea of doing the 2021 and 2022 drafts over the same week in Montreal in June 2022.
Doing a draft for the 21's in December makes sense as those kids won't really have a season before the fall. From what I have read doesn't seem like this is a top heavy draft so getting a better look at kids would help everyone.
Catching up on highlights from last nights Sens/Canucks game. Seems like the game got pretty ugly late, and the two teams are scheduled to play tomorrow and Thursday.
He’s always in Berube’s dog house. Wish he’d give Dunn more leash but he won’t. Blues w probably lose that trade when if it comes.
Tortorella called dubois soft, damn that’s harsh. Never had that impression of him but I obviously have not seen him play a lot except in the playoffs where he looked anything but soft. I don’t think tortorella is the type to make shit up out of spite though. The Columbus organisation is not holding anything back, dubois seemed nice on his way out but they do not pull any punches. Never seen anything like that. also good luck with laine if you don’t like soft players.
I expect tonights game to be a blood bath. No hearing for Stone. NHL said the damage happened by the Bozak hitting the ice, not the hit lol
I have not seen a mtl team look this good in a long while, obviously they will struggle at some point and injuries will happen but that is a solid solid lineup. Not a lot of weaknesses
Not trying to rain in the parade, but the Canadian division lacks a truly elite team. Everyone is kind of bunched up in the pretty good category. Whoever comes out of it is going to get a rude awakening.
