A little bit of a risk, but if you feel good about what he did last season, and he continues to progress - that's a good deal for the Wings.
Larkin got the Schiefle deal. They are comparable stat wise through the same period of time. It all comes down to the development. Worst case though, Larkin is a solid #2 center that can play all situations well enough to justify the salary.
Oof. Canada scores after time had expired in the 3rd to tie it up, but there's no video review, so headed to overtime.
Canada is like Barcelona/ Real Madrid, they’re already the best but still get an advantage from the refs
How is there no video review is crazy. Just like that first goal for USA. Clearly was a goal but no review and they overturn it
The Atlantic could have a lot of high profile rookies this season: Dahlin Svech Kotkaniemi Tkachuk Zadina Rasmussen That’s just off the top of my head
The refs were just helping out the US boys last night... the tariffs on Bronze at the border are a lot smaller.
Then you tell the Sens before the draft I don’t want to play there. Or you wait a year and hope the ownership situation gets resolved.
Yeah I keep thinking Carolina is in the Atlantic. I forget that not every shitty East team is in our division.
If Zetterberg retires, it’s conceivable that Detroit will ice a team worse than Ottawa on Opening Night. We are probably looking at something like: Mantha - Larkin - Zadina (R) Nyquist - Nielsen - Athanasiou Rasmussen (R) - Helm - Vanek Abdelkader - Glendening - Frk/Witowski/Turgeron (R) Daley - Kronwall DeKeyser - Green Ericsson/Jensen - Hronek (R) Howard Bernier Once we move Nyquist and probably Daley and Howard at the TDL, it’ll be even worse. At least some kids will play.
I’m surprised the lightning have so many more televised. They typically hate the small market although we had very few last year so I guess if you are doing it by slots gained it makes some sense. I’ve always felt that they do themselves and the league a disservice by thinking short term with big markets instead of showing the best teams. I feel like we rarely get to see mcdavid for example which sucks.
Ottawa will turn it around, melnyk will go. I can’t see any way he is still the owner 3 years from now. Ottawa looks like shit right now but they are still a better organisation than the Florida panthers and coyotes by a mile.
Makes yzerman’s decision to give McDonough $500k/yr more than that with NTC/NMC for the next 7 seasons baffling. Ellis got no protection. That’s a good contract for Nashville.
That's what I voted for. I love that sweater, so many good memories growing up watching and thinking about it.
