agree but it's not like it's been a frenzy, every high quality chance since the Hayes breakaway has been a goal. Same shit every game, leaks a softie and most high quality chances go in.

Hockey is such a team game, even in my beer league i see the difference between having 4 real defensemen versus having 3 real defensemen and one big time forward playing defense. forwards don’t know how to play defense and let me stop the puck, the timing is different.
Samsonov is top 5 in most categories, Holtby may not be top 50 and been shit in the regular season the last 2 as well. I'll always love Holtby and have a giant frame of his save vs Vegas but should I pretend that he's a good goalie?

Bring him up? he's pretty much co-starter now and he's going to be #1 next year, hope we pair him with a vet. Holtby is broken right now, don't see another 2018 run from this guy. In 2018, he was on the back of a bunch of great seasons and 1 mediocre. Now he's so far removed from being even an average goalie.

Just a little tip of the cap for a friend. i went to see an old friend of mine which dad is dying. He was my first goalie coach and was always preaching » don’t trust the refs, hit the guys that bother you » no joke, old school guy. I fucking love that man, hilarious but always serious, he was teaching us to hit a screener in places that the refs would not see . And when you hurt a dude, he does not come back. coached goalies for the harfangs de Beauport, coached martin biron and I still see the birons around. Great family by the way the birons are first class

Got him in my keeper pool. Couple guys tried to pry him away but for some reason I have faith in this kid and didn’t want to let him go. Been playing well over the last month or so.
