Idk what’s up with him but Marner was pretty mediocre 5v5 this year. Nylander was easily their 2nd best player, and yeah if he’s out they’re cooked

Just got home from walking the dog, I had no idea a game was already on, I read this thread thinking it’s 3-0 lightning and then I put the game on tv to see that it’s 1-1…is there a more fragile fanbase than the Miami crowd?

 

Panthers dominated us the first 13 mins too. We just closed the period strong. It’s gonna be a long series

 

I’m assuming someone I have on ignore is the cause because otherwise the thread is quiet? If that’s the case I wouldn’t put stock into that for “Miami crowd”

Lightning survived the first 12-13 minutes before settling in. Need the top line to get going and start creating chances.

 

Lightning turning the puck over a LOT getting out of their zone. This won’t be a long series if that continues.

 

Handling the puck like a grenade all over the ice for most of the period was not great.

Panthers weren’t even pressing as hard as I’ve seen them do this season. The first 12 minutes were not the panthers just going full press.

 

Same thing that worries me about the Stars I worry about the Panthers. Panthers and Lightning beat the shit out of each other first round and wears them out

 

Have to get adjusted to playoff officiating as a fan. Florida player absolutely mauled and held stamkos. No call. And he didn’t even complain
