I like most of your top 10. Saying that a top 20 goalie in the NHL isn't good though is what bothered me most. Semantics sure, but I wouldn't classify a solidified top 20 starter as "isn't good"
Don Cherry's list: 1. Andersen 2. Andersen 3. Andersen 4. Andersen 5. Andersen 6. Andersen 7.Andersen 8.Andersen 9.Andersen 10. CuJo
It’s a fun argument, and the idiot that I am forgot lundqvist(top 5 ) Also think Schneider is a bit underrated, quick faded away but he was awesome. I hope he gets back to form, fun goalie to watch.
I think you can squeeze Lehner in. He has a bit of a track record. Binnington is just too small of a sample size.
Rinne has the best defense in the league in front of him. Gibson has 2 good years and 2 bad in the playoffs. Rinne has 2 really good years in over a decade
Nashville has the best offensive defensemen in the NHL but I wouldn't say they have the best defensive defensemen in the league.
Islanders had the worst defense in the league last year, have a hard time considering them an elite defensive unit
No idea why Connolly was on PP1 over Wilson, we need traffic in front, not a shittier version of Oshie
It's a darn shame they blew their timeout challenging a goal where their own defensemen sat on the goalie.
Man what would they have called that? At first I thought Maroon held onto the glove, but it looked like the cuff of hellebyuck's glove got caught on his stick?
Backstrom at his best, really need more from Kuznetsov and Vrana. Burakovsky too but he kinda sucks and never gives us much.
Their goaltending was awful I would say the blues have the best d in the league. Calgary too. And it all depends how the team plays, it’s not just a defensemen thing.
It's 1 period, can all of you calm down. Good period, Kuznetsov/Vrana/Burakovsky still being soft though
Do you feel like the monkey is off your back and the pressure is gone? Curious. Hoping to feel that same feeling
He seems to be a good playoff player, his career almost ended in mtl. He is known as a lazy player but when the playoffs roll around he gets it going.
It's hard to play his type of game for 100+ games in a season. Detroit made the mistake of offering too long and too big of contracts to Abdelkader/Helm/Glendening for the intensity they bring in the postseason. Aren't much use when you're only playing the regular season and they aren't playing their playoff game.
I've been legitimately depressed over Caps playoff losses Want it bad but nothing will ever be like the pain of all those losses or the joy of winning it all after that.
