You haven’t paid attention, the blues are the best team in the nhl since Christmas and it’s not close. They step it up and dominate... 15-1 the shots in the second, they did the same in game seven against Dallas. They just have a hard time finishing.

An underrated terrible move was the Sens trading the Tarasenko pick to the Blues at the draft for David Rundblad. Saying that, of course some other teams should have drafted Tarasenko before then.

 

That was back when teams were scared shitless of Russians staying over in Russia. Blues had 2 1st round picks (Schwartz was the other, 2 picks ahead of Tarasenko ) and took a flyer on him, thankfully.

Yeah Kuznetsov went terribly late in the first round that draft. That Tarasenko - Kuznetsov - Panarin World Juniors line was amazing.

I listened to the spitting chicklets interview of Scottie upshall this week, very funny and he talked about Schwartz ‘s ability to deflect pucks in front of the net, he is magic in front of the net. That was a pretty solid goal
