Wow that was a very good read! https://www.theplayerstribune.com/en-us/articles/clint-malarchuk-bleeding-out
Haha if you hate it I can venmo you the $8. The thought just occurred to me, hopefully you went to sciceros(or whatever) and not the other one.
You didn’t specify damnit. I at at the New York one right at the entrance. It’s all good. Pizza is pizza.
You argued that Matheson should not have been suspended for a worse hit than this one. It was on pettersson
Eh Chara didn't slew foot him or anything, This one by Morrissey was way worse and was only a fine. Concussion too.
Barkov lunges for the puck between he and Chara's legs as both guys are battling for position. Chara just fell over the top of him and Barkov went down too. The Matheson hit was against a player facing the glass that had just passed the puck/was defenseless. They're really not similar plays.
He was going for the puck underneath/behind Chara and between their legs. You can see the blade of his stick almost touching the boards behind him. Chara was shoving him forward and Barkov going low just caused chara to lose his balance and fall on top of him. That's what I'm saying.
*Actually upon further viewing you can see in the 1st angle that Barkov's stick gets caught between the legs of the other Bruins player behind Chara. His skate then drags Barkov's stick into Chara's legs and undercuts him.
After what Toronto did last night for the second straight time against the Rangers I not only hope they lose 4 straight in the first round but I hope they never get out of the first round before Matthews bolts for the desert.
Driving someone’s head into the ice is cheap, dirty, completely avoidable, and suspension worthy. Chara has always toed the line of being a dirty player, his size notwithstanding.
What matheson did to Pettersson was so dirtier. The puck wasn’t even there anymore, and it was evident that Pettersson was in a bad position. Plus matheson was embarassed by Pettersson just a few seconds before the dirty hit. Matheson got 2? Chara should get nothing
just looked at the standings for the first time in two months. I see Buffalo could get a top 5 pick. cool
Cant find it now, but I saw a tweet that said since their 10 game winning streak in november theyve only won 12 or 13 games.
It's not a failure. The roster was never that talented. They got Skinner for almost nothing so even if he leaves, it isn't a big loss investment wise. Buffalo needs to stay the course. You are better off then a team like the Habs or Islanders who are way over-performing their talent level and will likely convince themselves that going all in this off-season is a good idea.
I don't think anyone can beat Tampa in a 7 game series but would be great if someone could, hopefully not the Pens or Jets though
[/QUOTE] Dirtiest regular season game I've seen in years but it's not Tom Wilson so nothing. Lightning also injured Kempny on some cheap shit and annoyed about that, Kempny is damn good.
