Michael Bunting is the most hated person in the NHL right? I mean Wilson has been hurt and Marchand had that stretch trolling people on Twitter which really redeemed him. Bunting is just lame, and the biggest diver in the league. And hilariously enough, he’s probably the best UFA this summer. Fuck us all.

Ignorance is bliss when it comes to our sports heroes. Random story - We got a new puppy when I was a kid and I wanted to name him Lankford after Ray Lankford (my fave cardinal that the time). My dad said no. We shouldnt name pets or people after people you dont know incase they turn out to be a rapist or something. I dont think I knew what a rapist was at the time. My mom certainly wasnt happy with his word choice lol. But I always think about that when an athlete/actor or someone you held in high regard turns out to be a POS.

When I got my dog as an adult, I was considering Yadi. Think it's a great dog name. But then I remembered that convo w my dad. So I named him indirectly after a dead POTUS who has certainly been whitewashed!

Blues aren’t wearing Pride jerseys in warm ups tonight. I know they have a few Russians but I also am blaming Binnington.
Im sure other teams do this too, but the Blues always raise tons of money on Pride Night, recognize a lot of local LBGTQ+ groups ect. They changed their twitter logo (big whoop). But they cant wear a warmup jersey. So dumb.
Honestly I get the decision PR wise. Nobody wears them and the story dies quickly. Specific players decide not to wear them and the story drags for weeks. It's stupid and the wrong decision morally, but PR wise, it's the right way to handle it if you know a player is going to refuse to wear them.

honestly no idea what to expect from this panthers team anymore. They will play amazing for a week, then look like utter dog shit the next. As for the Sabres, this really was a best case scenario season for them. Tage Thompson is legit. Cozens and Tuch look good. Dahlin took the next step, etc. They are still a tier or so below the best teams in the east, but they have a lot to build on. Take advantage of other team's cap crunch to improve the defense, find a stop gap #1 goalie to let Levi grow into the NHL and the Sabres have a stew going.
Depends on the player. Take the Sharks example. I’d rather prolonged negative PR aimed at James Reimer than refusing to wear them as a team and erasing a lot of the good work the organization has done. But it’s probably different if it’s a star of the team.
I think Torts has let assistants coach the last few games. It seems like he’s going to be the president of hockey ops.
