I think both should be, because both are dumb and dangerous, and neither play should be in the game. But it shouldn’t be one or the other. Either both guys miss time, or neither do. That’s the problem with DoPS and the officiating in the league as a whole.
Fair punishment, and ultimately irrelevant because he will be out a few games with his injury I imagine.
You know that Preds fan must have been a gigantic douche for the other Preds fans to go after him instead of the Seattle fan
Why is it that everytime a goalie puts on the flyers jersey they automatically start to suck? It’s an incredible run of incompetence or the Bernard parent curse but it’s really something, bring back brian Boucher. He is the only one that suck the same with the flyers or with any other team.
It’s because a lot of them aren’t great goalies, and then what happens is they get a prospect that gets overhyped because he’s seen as the guy that will finally end the curse. It’s a vicious cycle.
Circling back to last night, I think the Devils are a great team to watch on off nights. I don’t think they are a playoff team, but they will be entertaining.
The metro is so jumbled together, any team other than CBJ could find themselves in the playoffs. Devils are likely on the outside looking in, but it could happen.
I agree the Metro is a jumble. I still don’t trust Blackwood though, and as much as I like Bernier, I think the Devils goaltending situation is a big issue for a young team to overcome.
Oh they got a ton of issues for sure. But all it takes is for Hughes and hischier to take another step and they are a real contender
Just awesome goal by Duke. Stays onside, knocks it out of the air, stays ahead of D, and then the move for the goal.
The Blackhawks and Penguins just played over a minute without either goalie having a stick. Jarry didn't have one for over 3 minutes
2 thoughts. It’s still amazing to see the NHL pushed so much on ESPN now. It’s got to have a huge impact on growing the game in the coming years. Watching college football all day today and constantly seeing ads for it is awesome. So great to see it back on ESPN. Secondly, hearing that NHL theme song on ESPN brings so much nostalgia back. Love it.
