I kindly ask that mods remove #Seattle Kraken from everyone else’s fan of. I at least had a since-banned pedophile to converse with as a Canucks fan
Am I problematic for saying Leah Hextall is the worst announcer in NHL history, she spent an entire game calling Tomas Tatar "Novak" Truly incredible stuff
I was glad when Kendall Coyne was hired by the Blackhawks because she was so bad on the broadcast. Same w Ottawa hiring Pierre (although i did enjoy hating on him while watching at times) I remember NBC doing an all womens broadcast the last year or two. The pbp announcer was pretty good but can’t remember who it was. AJ was the analyst. She’s really good.
Made a couple of head scratching moves, but overall was very good for the Rangers. Was shocked he and JD got fired, when it was brutally obvious coaching was the issue. I give his tenure with NYR a B+
I feel like part of the reason it's been so long since a Canadian team has won a cup is because there's so much pressure to win now by fans/ownership that teams like Edmonton/Montreal/Vancouver have never finished or really even attempted a full on rebuild. Smaller market/lower expectation fanbase teams like Chicago, LA, Tampa have all won multiple cups in the salary cap era because they committed to the rebuild and ownership actually let them do it.
Evander Kane on waivers. GM also says he's fully vaxxed now. So basically a guy in tens of millions of dollars of debt lost 1.7 million in earnings to pretend to be vaccinated for a couple months. Dumbfounding.
absolutely, mtl has been on borrowed time for a while and they just can’t admit it. It’s patchwork. Price not playing this year might be the best thing for this team. He was masking a ton of deficiencies.
It's not even funny how many college football programs have this same ridiculous standard. And im not even talking about the "big" programs.
Sounds like Pettersson was benched the second half of the Canucks game tonight. What a debacle Vancouver is.
something has to change. it’s so bad. I’ve been saying it’s been bad even when they were winning games.
I was about to post the other day that it seems like they're breaking him. His confidence is visibly low on the ice compared to his first couple years.
he's been working for the Flyers for a few years but I think he was like Director of Ops for an ECHL team or something that Comcast owned.
