Canucks hiring bergevin would be hilarious. firing one guy who put together a failed playoff push roster to hire another guy who just did the same thing elsewhere.
Bergevin could win trades. He just kept the same shitty amateur scouting department for too long. Pro scouting and trading was pretty good.
Okay though yall would get a kick out of this. Our C LEAGUE. YES THE FUCKING C LEAGUE. Semi Finals were on Sunday. We normally have 12-13 guys. 4:30 game only 6 guys could make it. So we asked the other team to use a guy from another team, they said yes. We beat them 7-2. Now they're crying about they didn't say yes. Saying the guy was too good. MIND YOU, this fucking team has a 20 year old kid that played in the QMJHL last year. And they are talking about us making us replay the game. I haven't been this fired up for a long time. And if next time we replay them, Im 100% getting ejected from the game.
Fuck no. He scored 1 of the 7 goals. We had 12 fucking shots. 7 guys playing 15 minute stop time periods. They had 12 guys and 42 shots. Theyre being gigantic douches
think they were expected to be on the playoff bubble. I also think it you told people the season Carter Hart was having (up until these last few games when everything has fallen apart) they would bump those projections a little bit higher.
congrats to your goaltender, the other guy was probably weak as shit though. 7 goals on 12 shots is something
Interesting play in Panthers blues where one player cross checks another. The player being crosschecked ... His stick comes up because of the cross check and he gets a double minor for high sticking. I know you're supposed to "be in control of your stick" but I guess no exception of a penalty is being committed against you
Habs go from just missing a chance at an easy game clinching empty netter to a regulation loss in two and a half minutes of game time.
That’s a tough one for Montreal.. up 2-1 and the Lightning score b2b goals with 2 mins left in the 3rd
Trouba just threw a vicious hit....sure looked like an elbow to me...to knock Khaira out cold before his head even hit the ground. Bad scenes at the United Center
That’s a suspension, obviously. However I’d like to see another angle to see how intentional that was. Kind of looks like he’s aiming for the chest
I agree it was unintentional and probably not to the head if the head is looking up. But lots of commentary on it being "through the body" which I just don't see They didn't show many replays
Dangerous and predatory hit. Not aiming for the head but looking for a knock out blow. Should be a couple games.
Zegras looked like the figure skater from Mighty Ducks vs Caps last night, made defenders look silly all night skating circles around them
As far as the hit goes, players just don’t respect one another. Trouba didn’t need to make that hit, it was completely unnecessary.
I think what Cole did is worse than Trouba, because in the case of Trouba there is an outcome where it’s a hit to the chest or shoulder. The risk doesn’t outweigh the reward, but you can at least see a path to a clean hit. There isn’t a scenario where Cole is doing anything but attempt to injure.
I dont have an issue w Trouba drilling a guy w his head down in the middle of the ice. It was just reckless execution. Cole hit was just plain dirty
Shoulder hits the head. Couple inches lower would’ve been clean. 5 games. Khaira didn’t put himself in a vulnerable position at the last second so the onus is all on Trouba.
