my thoughts exactly. This game is there for the taking for the fresher stars. Cooper probably needs a fresh body or 2 drafted in next game. Hopefully one of them is number 91.
That third goal is a gut punch, needed to get to intermission at worst down 1. Looked like the Lightning were starting to get their game going in the last 6-7 minutes before that.
Hockey has to be the most aesthetically pleasing sports to watch on TV between the constant movement of the puck, the hits, the skill that it takes to skate so athletically, and the contrast between the players and the ice its all so beautiful
Probably had to accept a shitty game 1 so whatever (felt like the Isles in game 1 of the ECF), most of the 3rd period gives me hope for game 2. It's probably better Khudobin had a great game when we were really shitty.
Can’t play a good 25 minutes and expect to win. Lightning need to start better next game and get a lead. Cirelli’s line was really good for once which hopefully carries over. I didn’t think the top line was too dangerous tonight.
