Agree, Dallas didn’t have much zone time in the Lightning end at all. I was expecting more of a push. It’d be nice if Johnson fucking buried a chance for once, though he should’ve drawn a high sticking penalty on that chance in the slot.
It was pretty genius, Dallas has Dickinson man to man with point. Point just turned around the net to get a head start and they knew the ds were being aggressive. Perfect pass and bingo. Dickinson had no chance of catching him. Ds were playing the neutral zone hard and good bye
yeah the stick to the face as he’s shooting into an open net is pretty frustrating but Johnson has to find a way to get a puck into the net.

Also you saw that last goal by Tampa. That illustrate my point from earlier. Not saying vasi gets there but he would not have been on his back. People see it differently when the goalie is flopping around. If vasi gets there but gets beat between the legs people see it as a weak goal, and when a goalie is on his back and trying to make a desperate save people see it as impossible to stop. That’s what I was trying to say earlier. Vasi is a top 2 goalie in the nhl But that was a tough save/break for khudobin

goalie is so fucking hard mentally as a young player. And 26 is young. He is in the worst position possible in this game. Not a lot of shots, always weird bounces or great chances. You can’t get into a rhythm and start having a feel for the game. It takes incredible maturity to stay focus in a game like this and he is not doing bad. i am far from a great goalie but if you could put my 38 years old mind in my 18 years old body I would have done a way better job.
