Conference, not division
Just realized we were talking about this season only, ‘cause I’m an idiot like that. Carry on.
Good signing imo. Gonna be interesting to see how he does without Barkov and huberdeau. He’s an elite 3rd wheel on a line, but he’s not going to carry a line on his own.
I think it is a good signing too but i don’t know him a lot, he can score though. But like you said playing with barkov and huberdeau will help a goal scorer a ton. Not sure where he fits in that lineup, he should not take ice time away from tkatchuk.
For sure playing with Florida provided him the opportunity to play with extremely high end talent which won’t be available in Ottawa. If this was a signing in two years from now it would be perfect, just as some of these kids start excelling ( Stutzle, Batherson, Norris ).
I appreciate the honesty
Stamkos revealed in an interview with a longtime Lightning beat writer that his wife lost a child during the playoffs and that he tore something in his abdomen when he went around Lindell just before he scored in game 3.
I don’t think I could have stayed in the bubble if this happened to me and my wife.
My man Red needs to change his name, stat
Imagine if UM also got the good Pasta bro in that class lol.
seems to me like Nd is the stacked team looking at this picture, not michigan
yep, not sure how to feel about this. It’s none of my business, they probably made a decision together and it’s good that stamkos won a cup.
Lol. You have a good class but it's nothing on UM's.
I was just fucking around with you, I have no idea what I am talking about. I saw a few comments on this board on how the Michigan class is crazy good.
fuck you college hockey nerds
some of our schools are superior at swimming at diving
On The Athletic, one of the NHL guys says in talks with people around the league, the belief is there will be a 48 game season with normal playoffs. The idea being get the season back on schedule, but also allow for Seattle to have their expansion draft with enough time to prepare for their inaugural season.
i can’t imagine that the nhl people give a shit about Seattle preparing for their next season. I would guess that means a major pay cut for the players if it’s that short of a season? I figured that they would prefer an unbalanced season schedule even if it took 2 years to get back to the old calendar to try and get as many games as possible in a hopefully post-vaccine world with fans. NHL owners have to be bleeding money without fans and not all NHL owners are rich enough to eat that. Some are but not all.
One issue to remember is NBC has Olympic coverage in July. The league might not have a choice.
same issue with CBC, not to the same degree obviously.
This is something
Pray to God Chad Ruhwedel wins the job for RD3
Pretty good shot UM has 6 first rounders in the 2021 draft. Its historic level recruiting.
Gotta find someone to fill Jack Johnson's shoes
I imagine there’s 650 million reasons why they might have to give some sort of a shit. If Seattle gets fucked, I assume they’d want some of their expansion fee back.
Bring back Gary Thorne
Only sports announcer better in history may be, may be, Scully.
Emrick is not even the best for hockey. He’s a legend but he’s always had an annoying voice and catch phrases. He’s not even close to Bob Cole, Gary Thorne, and Chris Cuthbert.
Joe Thornton, Spezza, Simmonds. My dick would be so hard 5 years ago if they came to Toronto then.
Agree to disagree.
I’d still choose Dan Kelly over all of them.
He needed to retire and Im glad he did.
USA vs Russia on Christmas baby
Tirico has been strong for a guy with little hockey experience
Forslund has grown on me over the last couple years. If he’s not going to be NBC’s lead guy I’m hoping he replaces Peckham here in Tampa.
Detroit will take Seabrook’s contract for two firsts.
