If you’re NJ, would you package the 2nd overall pick and give up, say, Holtz + a second to make a run at Debrincat? part of me says they’re in a great spot and just don’t fuck with it/rush a rebuild, but another part of me thinks that Debrincat + Hughes would be a disgusting combo.
I member. Went to almost every game. Guy was incredible to watch and lost at least a breakaway or 2 each night because of the idiotic 2 line pass rule.

But clearly a big Mistake by Compher. Let them touch the puck and go on the power play. Just stupid. Leads to a 4 on 3 instead of the Colorado power play
The far ref often has the better angle or a less obstructed view. Compher also didn’t know that he doesn’t get to leave the box after that PP goal, so maybe he just has low hockey IQ.
