Random but speaking of rebuilds, I actually love what Bill Armstrong is doing in Arizona. -Had a complete fire sale last offseason and ate bad contracts up to 75 million of the cap. 8 picks in the first two round this year. -They're gonna trade Chychrun and get another haul for him. -At that point they will literally have 3 skaters and no goalies (Beyond those on ELC contracts) signed beyond this year. -They're gonna do the exact same thing again next year. If you're going to blow it up, fucking blow it up. They're going to have a damn near unprecedented nuclear stockpile of picks for a rebuild. (Now we just need to see if the franchise will be there long enough for their fans to actually see it)
Entirely possible Vasi was too distracted by the impending Ukraine invasion to deal with hockey or it could be the Ducks were good tonight
I have Vasi in my keeper pool. Seems like he leads the league in giving up one goal in a game so when I saw the score 5-1 I thought another game with one against. Until I double checked why he didn’t get me two points last night. Can’t win them all.
I was basically shuffling between four letter and six letter names to try to make my green and yellow letters work.
weeknights are one thing but I don’t quite hate myself enough to spend a saturday afternoon watching this flyers team.
The Wild got their 13th 6-on-5 goal of the season tonight. Only one of those was associated with a delayed penalty - the other 12 were in last minute situations.
Back to backs are interesting and like so much else hockey gets weird, after shit last night Bolts up 5-1 through 2 in San Jose with Brian Elliott in goal
Kind of odd Brady is doing this in season for a game he's not involved in. Just counting down the days until he forces a trade back home
