I’d argue Tampa had the best chances all game. Even in the 3rd with Florida getting most the chances, Stamkos/Palat then Colton had the best chances

Bob made more flashy looking saves but Florida had way more going on in front of the net. Florida controlled the game for the most part. Forced a couple of penalties but again can’t convert. That’s the story and they’ve tried every look. It’s in their heads and they show it. huberdeau trying to put the team on his back but no one is stepping up this series. And weeger can play fine all game and Yet he is finding ways to make game changing plays for the worse all postseason.
I’m wondering if barkov just doesn’t have a playoff gear. All the skill and puck strength and vision you could possibly ask for but he’s just so calm that there isn’t a gear to match some of the intensity around him. Huberdeau definitely has it but guys aren’t getting on the end of his plays. power play thing is just totally in their heads at this point. Who knows. That said if Bob keeps this up panthers have a chance to turn it around.
I would not worry about that. There are plenty of examples of elite players that did not produce in their first few times in the playoffs but once thé expérience kicks in they dominate. i have zero worry about Barkov being that type of player
