They were living off having a great record in 1 goal games. Now that that is evening out they are falling back to the pack. The early win streak will be enough to get them into the playoffs assuming they can play at an 81 point pace the rest of the way.
A lot of teams are in that position, the sabres are fine. It won’t happen this year anyway. Just keep drafting and things will fall into place. Mittlestadt is so skilled but he was always a high risk high reward. We will see but if he is not playing on the pp it’s a stupid way to bring him along.
he plays on the PP, but the top PP line (Reinhart, Eichel, Skinner, Dahlin, Risto) gets 75 percent of the time because the secondary scoring is so awful. So he really doesn't get a chance with solid power play time. I'd rather see him with Sheary and an actual goal scorer (aka, what Okposo was supposed to be).
We always have crazy/weird games with Philly. A month ago they came back from 4 goals in the 3rd before Cirelli scored in OT. Last year there was that 8-7 game that was decided in a shootout.

I bet mittlestadt is a big part of the issue too, he is a weak player and a finesse player. Not someone that can keep the puck, he had great vision but if nothing is open right away he is done
The fallout from publicly ripping your 2 superstars to shreds should be interesting to follow around here, especially since Benn’s got 6 or 7 years left on his deal after this year, and Seguin signed an 8 year extension this offseason that doesn’t kick in until next year. Good luck moving those deals, since I know one or both of them have full no-trade clauses in them.

I don’t buy that brand, but I have the same problem. I buy mine from j crew. the slim fit you can see the veins in my thighs but the straight fit are ok.
I’ve found luck with Levi. I bought one pair of slim fit by mistake. If I wear them after they get out of the wash, I may as well not try sitting down all day.
