4-0-1 without Fox and Chytil
I’m well aware that a failed challenge is always a penalty, it’s just added to my anger
Imagine that there was a period in my life when I hated Vincent Trochek
we’ve all been on that rollercoaster
Lot to do in Jersey
A penalty is such a perfect penalty for a failed challenge (compared to other sports), should be able to challenge more calls.
except when they butcher calls
Blues so far this year:
-Beat Dallas by 4
-Lost to Columbus by 2
-Lost to Arizona by 4
-Lost to Vancouver by 5
-Beat NJ by 3
-Beat Colorado by 6
-Beat Tampa by 5
-Lost to San Jose by 4
-Are losing to LA by 5
This league is awesome at giving the players and fans nothing at all that they want
What a play by Hedman to keep the puck in on the Stamkos goal.
It would be fucking awesome to see a German team with Drai, Stutzle, and Seider and that would be like the 7th most interesting storyline of a true world cup.
beer league defense
Wild endings to the Nashville-Colorado and Tampa-Boston games
5+match for this one.
Naturally the Canucks score a goal on the PK first, Sharks got one too though
One of the softest attempts to injure I’ve ever seen. If they are gonna dole that out there’s about a half dozen other instances a night that are more egregious.
Tim peel remains the worst
god damn Seravalli went hard
Staal and Risto about to show up and get the Flyers tank back on track.
Peel is actually a must follow on Twitter to see how bad NHL refs are. Every egregiously bad call, he’s right there saying why the ref got it right. Only ref he ever criticized was a teenager.
that Avs defense, woof
0 games tonight
One of the worst years of scheduling I can remember. I get no games on Thursday but why not split up games today/tomorrow?
"We fucked up, here's specifically how we fucked up"
we're so fucking back
this is just me watching every Sharks game
Obviously it’s hard to criticize a team with one regulation loss but they look just incredibly stationary for that game tying goal. Like just a few guys standing there like it’s a random 2nd period PK when already up 4-0. No urgency on the play to just finish the game at least in this one really short clip.
I believe this clip starts literally 2 seconds after a penalty end if that changes the context
Maybe if the guys were out there extended. Not sure. It just looked oddly still on the ice compared to most end of game scramble situations.
That Kraken jersey is beautiful imo
This is in the top 1% of greatest first goals ever
Oilers are currently down 4-0 to the Canes. Absolutely amazing to see how much this team is spiraling.
I was just about to post that they are a fascinating trainwreck right now.
Shit, they scored
Bar down kinda night for the youngsters
My 5 year old niece is currently yelling ref you suck at the Tampa game
Oilers goaltending options:
-Stay the course and pray Skinner figures it out, knowing that if he doesn't, it might cost you McDavid and Draisaitl.
-Call other teams from a terrible position of weakness, offer them every pick and decent prospect you have to give you a good goaltender and retain salary on him.
Oilers playing inspired hockey in the third.
Sabres did Levi such a disservice by not getting him a veteran starter to take the pressure off him.
What is Draisaitl doing here?
Who even is there to trade for? Blackwood? Elvis Merzlikins?
Oilers also might have serious competition for a goalie. Devils need to find a goalie ASAP. Buffalo probably needs to check in on the market. And that’s just the tipping point.
Saros or Jake Allen. Saros would obviously be more costly.
Nashville really should do a full rebuild, their core is aging and they aren't gonna be competitive with what they have. 6th worst in the league rn.
