can confirm last year was a good environment in Florida. Not in the top 5 loudest I've ever been in, but definitely in the top 10%
It was a half complaint. I honestly don’t like it. But in that moment with a goal area scramble it was actually really good. and then when the goal went in I realized how rare I have ever seen that.
I'm not sure there are more than a handful of guys in the league I'd want to finish that chance more. What a miss
*Edmonton defenseman back skating into his own zone with the puck with no one else on the screen Commentator: "Big hit by Ekblad on Perry."
It was 100% Goalie Interference but also clearly embellished. You are seeing why there were 2 embellishment calls on Florida in earlier rounds
I think we need to be more specific. He didn’t not get hit and pretended to. He got hit and embellished it making it look worse to make sure the ref saw it. Wish the rules made it so they don’t need to do that.
If we're leaning this far into semantics to qualify a flop, then I think that answers the question. I also dont care that much. It was a penalty with or without selling it.
Tkachuk is directly involved and throws shots in most every after whistle scrum involving Florida. Kane had a horrific period and has totally lost his cool. It’s smart to let him fly off the handle there up 2-0. Not saying the whole oilers team is rattled but Bouchard and Kane and maybe brown certainly have let the panthers totally under their skin and it’s affecting things
He throws shots and than runs and hides behind the official. I have no problem being physical but don't be physical and when someone comes at you hide
Was literally thrown in the box in game 2 for getting involved. He was just smart this time to let Kane have a melty
He was awful last game, kept getting baited by lesser players with weak shots. Nothing overly physical.
That was a beautiful set up on the Florida second goal. Can’t believe there’s coaches out there that openly say they are against set plays on the PP.
