Learned the hard way that playing hockey is incredibly hard on thr hips and surrounding upper legs I had to have hip resurfacing 12 weeks ago and it’s assumed from hockey. Fun stuff at 37 years old
I do believe that he has some real, serious issues, but it's probably just that it's Vegas that makes me shake my head. 35 is not at all young for an NHL player's body to start to break down.
That and new LTIR rules only grant about 4.3m in cap relief unless you designate the player out through the entire season including playoffs
1x3M 2.5M bonus for 10 games played. Did they fix this obvious loophole? Detroit essentially deferring salary to next year (if they want) when the cap is higher and they have more space.
Friedman mentioned Cuylle as an offer sheet target. He’s a guy I’d love to see Detroit go after but I don’t think he’s worth losing an unprotected first in the McKenna draft. Not sure you can get him otherwise.
That’s a win for Vancouver imo. I wouldn’t want to commit long term with his issues but if he’s back to normal he is a difference maker. If he sucks you’re rebuilding anyway.
About a mil more than expected but Fehervary is very good and only getting better. Carlson went from playing great with him to a complete bum without him
Demko has injury concerns so having to keepers isn’t the worst thing. What direction is the club going in tho?
Was assuming they’d make more moves. They were almost out of cap space and their bottom 6 looked grim.
It makes sense as a hockey trade though. Blues are super deep at forward and desperately need to get younger at the blueline. RHD as well. Bolduc is more of a sure thing tho. Solid hockey trade all around Just hope he's learned from his choices and matured. (Yes that is cope)
He's meh, but he's exactly the type of center that will fetch a late 1st at the deadline from a dumb team.
yea he's a Tocchet guy and the Flyers needed bodies at C. they overpaid but for one year it doesn't matter.
