How he got nothing for cross checking Larkin in the back of the neck and ending his season a couple years ago I’ll never understand
Obviously throwing things should never be encouraged but usually it's a controversial call that gets people to throw things
When I googled it before I read the week of June 10th but I’m assuming it will be earlier at this point. which is great for me since I’ll be on a Disney cruise that week
June 3 was the date Turner announced and in line with previous ones. Game 7 is June 18 NBA has locked itself into June 1 and won't be changing. NHL has released multiple schedules before. Here's what they did last year:
Yeah I’d assume the final may go into the cruise but I’m hoping I can get to a game before leaving. Having Vegas as a potential choice is quite spicy. Granted I’m not counting chickens until it happens but at the same time I’m trying to contact the cruise line just to see if they’ll carry TNT
What an awful leader. Own up to it and say it was a dumb play and something about being ready for game 4.
I’m floored by the fact that there are still paste eaters out there skating around without a visor. I understand they’re grandfather’d in. But god damn. Malhotra’s incident alone would’ve scared me into a visor, and that happened over a decade ago. Fighting is way down since then and Don Cherry no longer has a mouthpiece to insinuate you’re a faggot if you wear one. Stop the insanity.
Jamie Benn is a worthless sack of shit and at this point the only thing I hope for is that he doesn’t get suspended so he can skate on Thursday without his C and get his ass kicked
It makes sense to me in football terms. Basically if the penalty didn’t result in an advantage for the offending team and the team that drew the penalty scores anyway, then “decline” the penalty and move on.
I don’t like the penalty going full 2 minutes if there’s a goal. Punishment fitting the crime kinda conversation.
What about a personal foul on the defensive team during a play that results in a TD? Penalty still counts on the next play.
A major doesn’t end when a goal is scored but then when you consider all the penalties that should be majors that get called as two minute penalties, maybe this actually is what acts a deterrent for players to stop doing dumb shit. Plus scoring will go up, games will be less predictable.
Major penalties should still stand. I’d say that’s the equivalent. But tripping and most minor infractions I would say I like how it is now.
Not all football penalties gain an advantage either (holding away from the ball or whatever) but the idea of a penalty is it’s “cheating” or breaking the rules. If you break a minor rule and the other team scores anyway just count the goal and move on.
I’m good with majors but I always think about the little calls and in the playoffs especially. Maybe if you shorten to 1:30 but it goes the full time I’d be better with it. But delay of game or other little subjective calls going full 2 minutes for multiple goals potentially sounds way too harsh.
On minors, I think on delayed goals or goals on the PP the team should get their fifth player back but the person who broke the rules should sit in the box for the amount of time, like on offsetting majors
