Provorov is so good, one year ago I thought werenski was better. Not the case anymore and werenski is a hell of a player
Starting to really like this team, I hated that they got this far and lost the 9th pick for the 16th but Suzuki, kotkaniemi and now all of a sudden drouin look pretty good. Drouin needs to play with creative guys. The experience they get here might really help this team in the future.

nah, huge breaks for the flyers pucks being deflected by his own players. I should not say huge breaks, the flyers create that by going to the net and putting pucks at the net
Konecny misses an open net then he gets absolutely destroyed by drouin...hard to imagine a worst feeling playing hockey looks like drouin dragged his « probably small » nuts all over him
It’s almost impossible to have so little awareness around the net as lekhonen and make it in the nhl. Dude is so above average all over the ice but he sucks around the net
Flyers are really lucky to get out of this so easy, they really got outplayed for the major part of this series Did not expect this at all
he deserved it for doing his little showboating but weber was also right sticking up for him. it is what it is, the flyers all backed the fuck up when weber came in. He is one of the more respected player In the nhl. I bet he will talk to Suzuki about that little act
Not what I was saying, they all backed off. Some could’ve stepped up without trying to fight. Weber definitely inspire respect. If subban does the same thing he gets a few face wash without a doubt. Small little detail, but I liked it....let me get something from this series
talent usually lead to this, that’s why I would not say mtl should’ve won the series against the flyers. Mtl outplayed philly but mtl played their absolute best hockey, that was not philly’s best hockey. A good team will win on off nights
im sure Weber is going to go write in his diary after another season of not winning how no one would step up to him after he got bounced out of the playoffs
no one is scared of Shea Weber. The flyers weren’t going to fight with someone they just eliminated from the playoffs
There are a lot of ways you can get some players injured without fighting, Weber is notorious for breaking ribs in front of the net....almost every player in the nhl is scared of Shea Weber when going into a tight area
Which is something that should be out of the game, Weber still gets too much of the benefit of the doubt

seems like new age former players are going to get the nod more often now, thank god. Milburry is awful and he has no idea what he is talking about. Bieska is seeing things that the average fan won’t always see. These are the guys we need on broadcasts, explaining what they saw and how they think a team will adjust. not the old guys always talking about how the effort was the difference in the game
And while I am at it, I disagree with all of you saying that Calgary should blow it up. They lost because their goalies fucking blow balls. I swear I can save at least two goals they gave up last night...I am 38 years old. That was a complete choke job by their goalies and not a team can win in the nhl with goaltending like this. they just need to find a solution in net and add some depht. I would not trade any of their young forwards, maybe buy out lucic.
Looking at the weekend schedule of at best 3 games (likely 2 at this point) sucks compared to the last few weeks
Can the Canucks be forced to play Rittich in goal for the third period to possibly make it interesting?
I’m outchea dreaming about the slim potential that that Canucks will have to leave Markstrom unprotected. We shall see if they figure out some sort of trade before hand to avoid it (or else leave Demko unprotected instead, which would still be nice)
