Sens and Flames play 5 of their next 6 games against each other. We getting another coach fired?
Tom Wilson is still a piece of shit
That hit wasn’t dirty, just a quarter second late.
But he’s still a piece of shit anyway.
The late part doesn’t bother me, it’s hitting a guy without the puck who isn’t looking. That’s the gutless part.
It was in no way a blindside.
Wish the replays were at regular speed. Slow mo makes it look like he got drilled at 4 steamboats. It’s a dirty hit because Jankowski isn’t expecting contact at that point. If he thought it would be coming he’d have got his arms up or better prepare for it.
It should have been a major penalty. Super late, intent to injure.
I mean, that’s less than a second at normal speed. It’s was clean (no elbow, not to the head, etc), it wasn’t close enough to the boards to where that could become a danger, it wasn’t blindside. It was called interference because it was just a tad too late.
Super late, lol. Quarter second earlier and it’s perfectly fine.
I have no dog in this fight, Tom Wilson is a piece of shit.
That wasn’t a quarter second. He was at center ice when Jankowski got rid of the puck. He had plenty of time to pull off and Jankowski wasn’t even part of the play anymore.
Cody Ceci has been another pleasant surprise for the Pens this year. He’s been very steady.
I don't give a fuck how many seconds it was, he lined him up from 25 feet away. Are you suggesting he was trying to avoid the contact?
You’ve always been able to hit someone after they last touched the puck, how much long after is where it becomes a gray area. If he had hit him a quarter second sooner it would’ve been fine for what is generally acceptable.
It wasn’t charging as he was gliding in. But when a player isn’t expecting the hit after giving up the puck...Wilson had time to pull out of the hit.
And he got the appropriate penalty for it. Hitting someone without the puck is interference. If he had a flying elbow to his head from behind it would be a different story but it was an otherwise perfectly clean hit if not a quarter second late.
Agreed, interference was the appropriate call.
I’m not saying it was worthy of a 5 minute major, but it was absolutely a penalty and furthers the narrative that Wilson is a piece of shit.
The refs got the call right. That hit won’t make a Wilson top 10 dirty plays.
And that’s why you always need someone to fuck him up later, Wilson is not doing this if a Calgary player can embarass him in a fight or just bully him around the ice
this sport is stupid sometimes
The Red Wings are somewhere in the mid 30 straight PP without a goal, I've lost track at this point. Also at 4 straight PP without even a shot
The way the Sens are playing we could be the fourth best team in the division.
39 straight PP now no goals, at least got ONE shot that PP
Rinne is so bad now
Don’t do this. It will end badly.
And they are talking extension
Of course Wilson just scored
Awesome for Tom to fight through adversity to come up big
Really wish i made the post 5 minutes ago where i was thinking if the Panthers can just finally score once they will open the flood gates. Someone just needed to break the door open
Just noticed that the Islanders went crazy on a Boston in the third. Total beat down.
Detroit just had another unsuccessful power play. I’ll be upset if we don’t break the record. That makes 0/40 since the streak began.
Frankly I’m stunned this PP isn’t clicking
2 broken sticks cool.
They were playing well enough to win. Just not getting the bounces. They came all at once. Took 4/6 should have been 6/6. Take it and be happy.
Rinne having some trouble
Not a good night for former vezina winners.
He’s being asked to do a less than he was in Toronto. I never said he was playing great.
To cut him a little slack, the Preds are fucking awful all the way around right now.
Every time I watch the Preds this year.
I said what I said.
Great, thanks for the input.
You won’t be the first or the last to be burned by Cody ceci. It will be ok once the process is complete.
Front runner to be #1 in 2023, but this complicates things I imagine.
I literally said he’s been solid and not as bad as anticipated. Stop being weird.
the obvious joke is that even "solid" is too much to ask of Cody Ceci. What's weird is that you needed it explained.
Ceci was miscast in Ottawa as a top guy and they never let him develop properly. Was never a need to rush him and it ruined him. Kid had some talent.
