It can get down to -18 C for a week or so in StL Look how nice I was doing the conversion to centigrade.
“Four years ago, Miller admitted in an Ohio juvenile court to bullying Isaiah Meyer-Crothers, who was tricked into licking a candy push pop that Miller and another boy had wiped in a bathroom urinal. Meyer-Crothers had to be tested for hepatitis, HIV and STDs, but the tests came back negative, according to a police report. Meyer-Crothers, also 18 and who now lives in Detroit, said Miller had taunted him for years, constantly calling him “brownie” and the “N-word,” while repeatedly hitting him while growing up in the Toledo suburb. Other students at their junior high confirmed to police that Miller repeatedly used the “N-word” in referring to Meyer-Crothers.” https://www.google.com/amp/s/arizon...l-miller-after-report-of-bullying-racism/amp/
I can figure out the diff between F and C when its above our 0 degrees. Once it goes below that, Google comes in handy.
it’s the coyotes organisation, they hired a 30 years old analytic guy. They had no idea he did what he did. That organisation is a complete joke
two of my favorite goalies to watch. I love their style If you don’t already know the story about khabibulin and his addiction to coffee, read up on it. It’s insane.
I get it but it is still something said bad against Russians. i know some Russians and they know how crazy they are. But whenever I post something about it here I get labeled as a don cherry canadian guy. russians are legit insane, especially the hockey players.
That's still dumb. If they feel the difference between safe and not safe to play w COVID stuff is body checking, they probably just shouldnt be playing
it’s like the big ten canceling the season at first, everybody wants to look like they care so much...and then they do something even more detrimental and realize it a few months later.
It’s completely stupid and the provincial government (who made the decision) is rightfully getting ripped online. How is body checking a bigger covid transmission risk compared to sitting in a locker room, on a bench together, even faceoffs?
it is exactly what is wrong with politics right now. People trying to use a situation for political reasons when it makes zero sense but it looks like you are looking out for the kids.
It makes no sense but on paper it looks great, kids won’t hit each other anymore and they won’t get close enough to give each other Covid. the reality is they will still get close enough and they will hit anyway. It will be a nightmare for the refs
They’ve been playing this way so far in Tier 2 Junior. Women’s hockey rules. Body contact but no hitting. So stupid. This is a way for the government to say well we didn’t tell them they couldn’t play...
You would think they would like you know, practice on a blank piece of paper or ya know, a computer. Plenty of room on the right side of the non players as well as the gaps in the first 3-4 lines.
This is a kid from around here and I know a few people that know him and his family, as well as the kid he bullied and their family, and are familiar with the situation. As always, there is more to the story than is being reported. it doesn't excuse bad behavior, but it's not exactly a racist hockey bully abusing a kid with mental disabilities. It also raises the question of how long people should pay for their bad behaviors as kids (or even adults). He was 14 when this happened. I can't say I've used racial slurs or attacked anyone like this, but......14 your old me was not exactly a saint. I wonder if we all had to tell our employers the worst thing we ever did as a kid, how many of us would have jobs.
