awful time to try to trade a 32 YO with a 9.5 cap hit on a career down year.
True but these Pens would get mauled by Arbour’s boys
To be fair the Isles are playing at New Nassau.
Barclays can EAD.
Looking forward to the new Belmont digs in 2021
I would bite
I bet they try to move Phil
But nobody will bite, malkin is attractive.
Let’s move everyone.
The Chiclet boys are gonna eat some crow on their PEN/NYI picks
I dont think many picked the Isles. It's like most feel they'd would have to reject their Canadian citizenship to doubt Sid.
I still don’t think the Isles are that good. I’m just surprised by how bad the Pens are.
the signs were there but I think everyone just expected the Pens to flip the switch.
A lot of people would bite, but it's hard to imagine what the penguins would get in return that would make them better next season.
If there's a team that would want him and that contract, it would likely have to be a team that was close to a contender on a short cup window with cap space. That other team would be wanting to give up prospects, not key players in return.
This would make more sense imo. His contract is much more doable as a 1 for 1 trade for a good DMan.
Maybe a 1 for 1 for a dougie Hamilton or something with a team that needs scoring and has good defensemen in spades.
Guentzel's value will never be higher than right now, imo.
Trading Malkin doesn’t help. He’s on a pretty solid deal, as is Sid, and they need to win now. You’re not going to net a return for Malkin that helps you in the short-term.
I’d like for Kessel to go but his value has to be at an all-time low.
Letang was pretty great this year so idk about him. The real question is if he can maintain.
Maatta not playing in favor of Jack Johnson and Gudbranson seems pretty telling. He’s still relatively young and was one of their most consistent defensemen before the playoffs started so I imagine he has at least some value.
The point is, Rutherford is one of the most aggressive GM’s so he’ll make some sort of splash.
Bottom 6 depth is what they need, imo. They’ve been trying to find the next Bonino since he left and have yet to find him. I like Bjugstad, though.
just trade Crosby.
put a fork in them...
biggest first round game since???
We probably burn the house down if we lose game 3 to Columbus last year but not near this.
nah, they'll win this game because hockey.
Tampa played well there
Not really but they did what was necessary
What a backhand shot
Come on Bob, don't fuck this up
Helleybuck is awful
Love this Columbus crowd
Stamkos has just been invisible this series
Sounds like the commentators are reading my posts, happy to provide it
Kucherov, point too
Hedman is visible though
1 shot all series, yikes.
this is something
Tampa breaking records left and right
Only two 1st rounders is ok, I guess
What is Columbus chanting
NBA won't have a more intriguing series all postseason
Wendel Clark, wendel Clark
What Columbus is about to do in the neutral zone for the next 30 minutes will go down in hockey lore
and might put everyone to sleep
I'm sure the people behind the couple standing the whole time are thrilled
C B J
LOL at the STL goalie holding Byfuglien's leg as 3 Blues players beat the crap out of him
Dont touch the goalie.
Jets are absolutely dominating tonight
Time to stay off twitter till this game is over
People live tweeting GoT deserve death
Tampa is a joke
They've been flying this period, Columbus need to take it to them
