I am concerned that all this nastiness in the first round is going to convince the league that this playoff format is the way to go forward. They claimed we would get new rivalries, and that certainly appears to be happening.
Bishop has always let in soft goals. He would always make 1-2 incredible saves that should have been goals and then let in 1-2 soft goals a game. Typically evened out but the soft ones are frustrating.

Tampa has exceeded my expectations in adopting hockey but our owner is aware that the tide could turn the other way quickly. He partnered with bill gates’ investment firm on a $3 billion redevelopment of downtown Tampa with the lightning as the centerpiece draw for downtown. Fans jumping off the bandwagon impacts that more than the hockey team.
